My partner and I spent 3 nights at the Sheraton Westpark in Munich. The hotel is in a convenient (but not central) location, with S-Bahn and U-Bahn stations practically on the property. Getting to central munich, and other locations, was a matter of minutes. Check-in was a breeze, which was nice after having issues with getting to Munich because of cancelled trains, and delays, we were tired, and were glad that there was no issues at check in. Luka at the front was very kind, and was very helpful with any questions we had. Our room was pretty good size for europe, with a good sized and nice bathroom. I still don't get the use of dispensers in these times, but the product seemed good enough. Lots of closet and drawer space to empty our suitcases and clothing into. I had asked for a "corner" room, and was given one at the very end of a hallway, which we will chalk up to a mis-translation. Overall the room was very nice, and we were comfortable for our stay there. We had one breakfast, and I should have checked the price before I sat down, as it was 44 euros ($60 CAD) for the two of us, for a good, albeit not special, typical german breakfast. The gym area is very large, well appointed, and has a hip vibe, with multiple levels, coloured ambient light at night. During check out, there was discrepancy, with me being charged for nights, despite having booked points. True to bavaria, noone at head office was available to help the front counter staff, and I was resigned to thinking I would deal with it later with Marriott, rather than miss trains to the airport. I later received an email from the front staff that the mistake was theirs, and had been rectified, which was very nice of them. Overall a really great stay, and I wouldn't hesitate to stay again.
