The Haven Munnar

We had an excellent stay Here! It’s a beautiful property, very well ***aged. The rooms were fantastic, thoroughly cleaned. The ambiance around the stay, especially in the morning was superb! The food prepared was just delicious and lovely. Looking forward for the next visit!

It was an awesome stay.. water flows through the stay and the sound really rejuvenates. Hospitality of the owner is notable. They really spoke well and assisted us throughout the trip. They are very nice and helpful. Breakfast was authentic Kerala food and really good one.

We arrived here from Varkala by taking an early morning train and a bus ride from kochi and reached here around afternoon, The place is a bit early from the Munnar (11km) town which is the only caveat here as most of the places that you would like to visit are far, but it seems the tourism of Munnar in general is evolved around this aspect of the place. You will be able to hear a waterfall as soon as you climb the stairs towards the back of the house towards the three rooms on the first floor. There are two balconies and a common area which is also connected to the ground floor. Our host Mr Ajit and his family were very polite and warm and they attended to all of our needs very respectfully. The balcony at the back was my fav place to hang around as the view was such a pleasure, you could see tall trees coming up from the ground and the small waterfall in the distance. The balcony is filled with small plants and well maintained in general. The rooms too are very good in that aspect , they have great furniture inside and feel cozy, although out of two rooms that we had booked only one of them had an air-conditioner but it wasnt needed though. they also have hot water which is solar powered. The next morning we were in relaxing mode and didnt wish to hustle our schedule into covering lot of things. We asked Mr Ajit if we could go to the waterfall and take a bath there to which he happily agreed , this made our day. The waterfall feels really private and secluded so we just hung around for hours there. Much recommended.

Stay was very nice, rooms were spacious and well maintained. There's a small waterfall next to the property. Owner (Ajit) helped us with all the arrangements. He arranged jeep safari, auto, taxis and food too for us. Highly recommended. They provide breakfast too which is homely cooked and very healthy.

The rooms are very nice and the view from balcony is superb with waterfall sound. and more importantly Aji sir and family took care of us very nicely. very humble and polite. great hospitality.. Best place to stay in munnar. Home cooked food excellent taste and quality.

The view from the balcony was amazing…with the sound of waterfalls…it was an amazing stay…hospitality was very good and the housestay owners was very polite and they helped us a lot in getting us a cab to munnar

The courteous hosts and the beautiful abode is comfortable, classy, holistic and enjoyable. Home cooked food was scrumptious and filling. The property itself is located in a haven which we enjoyed. Our best wishes and Gratitude to Mr. Aji and his family for making our humble stay so memorable and beautiful.

We stayed in The Haven, Munnar for two nights and it was excellent, literally staying in the haven, in safe hands of Mr. Aji and his courteous family. Everything is so well maintained that one feels homely. The food preparation is just mouth watering, awesome. Thanks a lot Aji and your family for making us feel so happy and comfortable stay in your place.

The hospitality of the hosts are very good. Good family food freshly prepared. The hot water in the bathroom is not sufficient for a family. The location is well near tourist attractions. Overall very good stay
