The quality and efficacy of the hot spring water is particularly noteworthy. The rooms are minimally equipped but kept clean. The starry sky that can be seen from the rooftop is indescribable. The wonderful natural environment and the quality of the hot spring water make me want to return.

Hotel Hanabun was a great ryokan experience! It is nestled in the mountains offering a peaceful getaway from touristy/crowded areas. It had the best onsen water, even the locals went there to bathe!
The hosts and staff are all friendly and accommodating to your needs. Google translate was necessary to communicate, but everyone is very patient. The food was incredibly delicious, and they use locally sourced, fresh ingredients. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy ryokan.

I stayed the night before to climb Mt. Myoko from Tsubame Onsen, and it was a very comfortable ryokan.
The food was delicious, and the milky-white hot spring was uniquely comfortable, being in the top 3 among hot spring lovers like me.
The people at the ryokan are also kind, and I would like to visit again on another occasion.
