I believe this is getting into the heart of the season, and there's still some hot tub maintenance left to be done. I really hate this because that's one of the biggest reasons I come here is Skippy has great temperatures in the hot tubs . The ones ones that were working were excellent. However, they were still dealing with hot tub issues when I was here in the off-season, which is December through May. I have stayed in about every room in my set that I usually get. I always find they could do a little bit better job for cleanliness. My rooms air conditioning filter hasn't been changed since December. I had one of the units that was up for sale. Room 1024 was not totally bad, but it needed a lot of updates . There was a piece coming out of the oven door. It looks like they had just shoved the dishwasher into the space and didn't finish the cabinet around it. The stack washer and dryer were totally not working we had to manually do the washer. Also, the night latch was falling off the front door and cracked. It was held by one screw. King bed was very comfortable. Always seems to be quiet on the north side at night even though they were busy. Unfortunately, you will smell the aroma of ********* off your balcony quite frequently. This has been an ongoing problem. I mean, it's almost legal in a lot of different states. It's just a little rough on people who are not into that kind of thing. The balconies on the north side are very small, and really, anybody over two people are going to find them way too small. Pretty much your view of obstructed from the next door facility called The Cayman Resort. The people here are what I keep coming back for. I mean, it's Skippy at the pools. It's Maggie at breakfast. It's JB who always tries to make sure I'm taken care of behind the scenes. Jennifer, that does a good job managing the grill, and the food is excellent. I can tell you this place isn't Margaritaville, but overall, it's not a bad resort. I think they just need to work on maintenance and cleanliness of the rooms. Updating and making sure things work in your room efficiently.
