Sandcastle Oceanfront Resort at the Pavilion

Worst hotel I've ever stayed in, what a shame charging such a high price and and staying in the nastiest hotel in myrtle beach sc Oceanfront blvd, the stains and dirt on the carpet are upfront visible ,all the furniture are outdated,the mattress old ,all kinds visible nasty stains on the hallway and the porch as well .what we saw online is not what we got in reality 🥶🤬😡😭😱

Budget hotel . Can check in after 4 pm , some taxes not included has to pay at hotel , otherwise everything ok

They have the best customer service and they are very helpful. I’m really glad that I got to meet the staff. Thanks to Doug,Ramano,Deandre,Orion,Gabby,Clayon,Nyasha,Jermaine,Rochelle,Javonie for the great hospitality. Don’t worry I will be back soon.

This hotel is so dirty and outdated. Our room looked like it hadn't been updated since the 80 and probably not cleaned since then either. If we had the funds we would have moved hotels. The front desk staff could use some training in hospitality etiquette

Excellent service & staff very friendly. Oceanfront was breath taking & ran the beach. I would recommend staying at this awesome hotel. Food places were close as well.I would to go back.

Cleaning Staff is not managed and is doing the basics. Doors busted, windows have mold on them, full kitchen but no pots & pans elevator area badly needs new floor and door does not lock. Curtains to patio door need to be replaced. Sun has burnt

First off, let's not even talk about the outdated room . Let's just speak on the dirtiness and the things that didn't work in the room. The shower head was broken, literally have to hold the shower head to shower. The toilet stayed stopped up. Called front desk multiple times, no answer. The floors were not swept nor mopped before our check in, they couldn't have been, the sand on our floors could have furnished another beach. The floors are so black, our feet were the blackest they could have been. The staff was rude, never even looked up to say hello or enjoy or anything. We arrived about an hour before check in and we're told we had to wait until 4. At 4 , we waiting in line for over an hour and half to check in. We checked in and the hallways were pure nasty. The pools were almost black water. The grounds of the hotel were so nasty. The *********** site stated that there would be breakfast from 7-11, no breakfast to be found. Just all around, a bad experience. I have been coming to Myrtle beach hotels for years and this is by far one of the WORST EVER.

While the view from our oceanfront room was amazing, it was the best part of the hotel. I booked through a third party and check-in was a breeze. The front desk staff was pleasant and attentive. When I asked about the indoor pool and hot tub that was advertised on their website not just the third-party site, I was informed that they did not have an indoor pool nor hot tub and quickly refunded my resort fee. The room was dated and in need of some TLC. There was no remote for the tv, the light in the bathroom flickered if it came on at all, the showerhead provided a single stream of water, and the coffee pot and microwave did not have cords long enough to reach the closest outlet. While maintenance quickly attended to most of the issues, I was still a little disappointed in the room. Luckily I spent most of my time on the balcony.

The room was surprisingly nice and had a small kitchenette which came in very handy. The bathroom was newly renovated and I had the perfect view of the ocean. The heated pool and jacuzzi was a nice perk since it was too cold to go onto the beach. Great value for the price!
