Hotel Blue

All the rooms were very nicely updated. My only complaint is the beds were so hard. I think the problem was they just haven't got to upgrading the beds. Other than that the room was great it very clean the kitchen was awsome as well as the bathroom was very pretty. We greatly enjoyed our stay. The only thing I wished I would have done was to jot down the name of the little girl that checked me in. She was so awsome. And when approached about getting onto a higher floor she was so accommodating. She upgraded us from floor number 2 to floor number 15. I know a lot of people floor number doesn't matter. But for me it really does. And just making that adjus**ent for us really made our stay wonderful. Thank you so much!

Husband and I stayed for two nights in an oceanfront efficiency on the 10 th floor. Pros: room was very clean Bathroom updated Nice ocean view Full size fridge, stove/oven, microwave Front desk was helpful and pleasant Housekeeping was friendly Parking on site was free Swim up bar A/C was good Water hot once it warmed up a few minutes Apparently you can use amenities two hotels away at Captains Quarters Cons: Pool and indoor lazy river needed painted inside and outer perimeter. Water seemed clean but with the stains in the pool it didn’t look look inviting to use. Hallways were worn and appeared not clean because of old carpet. Walls all had new murals though. Lobby was old , dark and uninviting People smoked on balconies….a lot…..stinky to even sit on balcony in the evening. Cigarettes and **** Beds, while clean were pretty hard…pillows good No blankets at all on bed, just a top sheet and a sheet like top cover. Sketchy looking guests at times This is a very basic hotel, it’s a close walk to boardwalk and Family Kingdom, restaurants and ice cream shops. Would be ok for budget conscious guests and guests who watch their kids closely.

Our room was clean and the price was right. Gave us a paper at check-in that towels replaced every couple days…three days in and asked at desk & was told new towels only upon request. Room service non-existent…broom in closet. Big sign out front advertising best swim up pool bar with music (speakers all around) which was one reason we went there…speakers didn’t work & swim-up bar was closed due to lack of lifeguard (but could get drinks at bar and take into pool). Website said iron/ironing board in room - nope! Our visit seven years ago was a completely different experience…we won’t go back!

If I could rate this hotel it would be a negative number. Nothing good to say about this hotel. Find another roach motel to stay at. Lobby was horrible, beds and pillows were uncomfortable and dirty and old, bathroom sink clogged, sliding door broke, smelled like pot 24/7, felt unsafe since people walking around throughout hotel without wearing mandatory wristbands, swim up was chained off, lazy river brown. Could go on and on.

Had an ocean front view which I absolutely loved!!! The bed was incredibly comfortable. We really enjoyed our experience. Everyone was so friendly.

We always stay in the beachfront efficiency. Their staff is always friendly and helpful. As a moderate hotel, Hotel Blue is excellent.

Hotel Blue is a awesome hotel I go to Myrtle Beach South Carolina 6 to 7 times a year and each time I visit I stay at hotel Blue the rooms are very clean the staff are friendly I have an upcoming trip in May and I will be staying at hotel blow.

The gentleman that helped me switch rooms from bugs (oaches) was very helpfull I think a manager, at checkout the front desk girl that assited me was very unprofessional. I would not stay there again but I am glad the manager was helpful.

Hotel was I guess getting updated so there was building materials and a dumpster everywhere. Outside felt dirty and old Wouldn't stay here again. Restaurant for the breakfast was awful and $16 pp for free buffet type food. 0* on that for sure
