The location is super good. The sunset and night view are beautiful. Have a drink at night, suitable for taking pictures. Prices are reasonable. The facilities are a bit old. The Fujian Boss Hotel next door will open soon, and the facilities may be updated. Cost-effective, value for money. However, it is not suitable for guests with hardware requirements. The facilities are not as good as domestic city convenience hotels

Aquarius on the Beach was a nice hotel. Port Denaru is easily accessible from here. The hotel itself is very basic. The rooms are small. The hotel is priced accordingly with what you get. The location is the best part about this hotel. I would give it 6/10.

It's so close to the airport, small hotel with beach access, convenient and walking distance to other restaurants etc. there was some construction next door which you can hear from the pool area, but it wasn't excessively loud and still enjoyed a very relaxing day there!

It was a rough night of sleep at the Aquarius. The AC wasn't pumping out any cold air so it was stifling hot. We expected basic rooms, and they were. Also, the fridge wasn't plugged in so we couldn't use it as expected for our food. The room was large enough, but the shower/bathroom was tiny. The location was good and within walking distance to restaurants and a grocery store. The pool area is cute, but the adjacent beach didn't appear to be the cleanest stretch on the island.

The hotel overbooked our reservation for one of the nights. If we came, they told us it is not their problem and we should handle it with Agoda. They refused to call them and wanted to charge us for call to Agoda as it is international call. The fact that would compensate us or arrange different accomodation was beyond their imagination. The offers for additional rooms were open for the "overbooked" night even within next 24 hours even at other websites while staff did nothing about that. We stayed one night and for the overbooked night arranged accomodation by ourselves. The accomodation had cockroaches in the reception and very wet and funghy baggage storage. When we arrived for a two night stay, AC was not working and they said it would be fixed next day. When we said this was unacceptable and we wanted to cancel our room, they found someone to fix it. The units could only operate at 1 temp. When we were checking out they said breakfast was included, which no one told us about. It seemed some of the staff really didn’t care. They did try to keep the place clean but it has rundown feeling. Would never stay here again
