I was intrigued by the fact that it was a female-only dormitory type room and it cost about 700 yen per night, so I was excited to try it out with a friend. The receptionist was generally polite. The room was about 1 tatami mat in size and I only had to sleep in it, so I actually enjoyed the fact that it was small. But it stinks. I couldn't describe the smell, whether it was curry spice or body odor, and I couldn't stand it, so I put on a double mask and went to bed. There was a toilet and a shower room, but since it was a unisex room, the men were doing the showering, so there was pee on the toilet floor, which was very dirty. The shower room wasn't particularly dirty, but it wasn't clean either, and the bath mat was always drawn, so I didn't want to use it, so I used the towel I had brought with me. There was shampoo and body soap. When I got home after midnight after finishing drinking and went to the bathroom, the toilet seat was up and the floor was soaked all the way to the bathroom door, so I think someone had leaked water. I was so disgusted that I went outside to go to the bathroom. I refrained from drinking water because I didn't want to go to the bathroom tonight, but I really wanted to go to the bathroom in the morning, so when I went, I found that it had been cleaned thoroughly. It said it was a women's only dormitory, but it seemed like the right side of the hallway was for women only, and the left was for men. What surprised me most was that the bathroom was outside. . . It was on the balcony, and it smelled like someone had urinated on it. It was a challenging stay in a life experience, and I was in a private room that was sheltered from the rain and had access to the toilet, shower, and sink. Considering the price of 700 yen per night, I have nothing to complain about, but I won't be staying there again (lol), but my friend is fine with it and says she'd be happy to stay there again.
