Our stay at OMO5 Okinawa Naha by Hoshino Resort offered a unique blend of modern design and cultural immersion. However, there are areas that could be enhanced for a better guest experience. The resort would benefit from additional parking spaces and a more varied breakfast menu, which was predominantly bread-focused during our visit. The cultural activities available in the lobby, such as guided tours, provided a deeply engaging and immersive experience, adding significant value to our stay.
On the downside, the transitional space for removing shoes was cramped, which made the movement from the entrance to the tatami area somewhat uncomfortable. While the large sofa area is stylishly designed in a modern Japanese aesthetic, the absence of a coffee table was noticeable and impacted the functionality of the space. Room for luggage was also limited, reminiscent of compact Tokyo business hotels. Despite these drawbacks, the overall experience was positive, highlighted by the cultural engagement opportunities the resort offers.

The hotel is in a great location and the staff is super nice. The breakfast set bread tastes great and there are free drinks in the lobby. I will consider staying here next time and recommend it to my friends.

However, the only drawback is the cleanliness. The hygiene in the bathroom is a bit lacking. We also found long hair on the bed. Considering the quality of the hotel, it should be better, but it is a minor problem. We did not change rooms. The view from the hotel window is very good. Overall, I still like this place. Hotel . For self-driving tours, you can use the electric taxi parking lot next to the hotel. It costs 1,500 yen per night. If there is no parking space, the staff will direct you to the nearby open space parking lot. The price is also very reasonable.
