Awesome lodge and awesome staff super helpful the owner and the caretaker mr kuldeep is super helpful. The place is clean and super view of the mountains and you can hear the waterfall. They also have a farm of their own you can go and enjoy there… highly recommend

December 13 to 20 I stayed at the property. Staff is courthouse, entire property is well maintained, under CCTV with remote control / view by owners. During winter electrical bedcover provided. It's worth place for solo traveller, for couple and family who wish to enjoy peace and nature. ( Bharat Gandhi @ Mumbai )

Had a brilliant stay. Cannot fault hotel. It was clean, in a good location, served a great breakfast and the staff were extremely helpful. Would definitely recommend and would certainly stay here again it is very silent place and the different thing all food are fresh

View is good but the place needs a lot of maintenance. The bathrooms were dirty,showers not working,Dirty towels,no Geyser in one bathroom. Dirty linen in bedrooms. Most unhigenic kitchen loads of insects everywhere. The place is big for a staff of 6 people. Very disappointed with my trip.

Loved everything about it, from people to place, i journey to remember, we will be forever visiting the place! One will find absolute peace, amazing view of hills, ***** with mesmerizing sounds of birds. A must visit place!

We stayed at The Green Lodge for a week last week and since we had the entire place to ourselves and also because of the very helpful staff we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The Lodge is located away from the main road and faces the valley looking towards Saatal to the East. So there's peace and quiet with the first rays of the sun hitting most of the rooms first thing in the morning. There are a couple of terraces where you can practice 'pranayam' and yoga if you so wish. Or have your morning cuppa. If you're a birdwatcher you can expect to see some pretty birds like Black-lored tit, Crimson Sunbird, Cinerous tit and Lesser Yellownape (a colorful woodpecker) among other more common varieties. Every morning we were woken up at about 5 am by the beautiful song of the Blue Whistling Thrush just outside our window. You can go for walks ***** the road and indulge in more birdwatching or just stretch your legs. So take your binoculars *****. The rooms are large with large bathrooms and running hot water. There are two dining areas one large one on the 2nd level and another smaller one on the 3rd level. There's also a kitchen with basic amenities, crockery and cutlery - so you can cook if you so wish. The staff is happy to assist you in any way. We cooked a few meals for ourselves. Staff can come up with some local food like '***dwa ki roti' (finger millet flat bread) and local vegetables and daal. Although it rained most of the days that we were there we had a relaxing stay. I would say that Jeolikote is a hidden jewel in that part of Uttarakhand and would recommend it over Bhimtal and Nainital which are close by in any case.
