We arrived and we're told they'd moved our booking to a different hotel and we have to go there. Not informed of this prior to arrival by either the hotel or website. Rude, inflexible and not helpful. The hotel they moved us to was an absolute dump, we will NOT be using trip.com or recommending Orchid again....don't use this website or stay at this hotel...they screw you.

Hotel Orchid Nainital is a good kind of property. Hotel staff was very supportive. Rooms were very neat & clean with nice Restorent. Food was delicious. Overall it was good place to stay in Nainital. 👍

The location of hotel is not good. They allotted five rooms at three floors, this was uncomfortable. Bathroom were not so good. They locked all three ground floor rooms in night at 10pm from out side, because the reception was connected with rooms and reception was closed at 10pm. This was very horrible.

Good location, excellent services, very courteous and efficient staff, they go out of the way to help and make the stay a memorable one, neat and clean hotel and room, parking on-site, which is a major plus point.

Rooms were very spacious, all the amenities were provided. Fully hygienic and staff was cooperative. Very good location, near to mall road and lake.

To begin with please understand that we had our parents with us who had to climb two storeys because the hotel refused to give us room on lower storeys. The additional bed made room so conjugated that there was barely space to walk. The room had no fan and window would open at lobby so could not be used. To make matter worse we were stuck inside our room at night as the door would not open and there was no one to reply our calls at reception. Fortunately it was a minor emergency and not an major one else you can understand the consequences there were plethora of other issues with the hotel.
