I had a delicious dinner date. Yvonne served us great with a lot of warmth and so much grace, patience and offered assistance to make us comfortable during our time here With such service. I shall be back very many times. The ambience is also to die for.

We had a relaxing stay at Hemmingways after a 2 week safari. The property is beautiful and the grounds are spacious. All of the rooms are large and have balconies. Our only complaint was that the the air conditioning did not work in our room. They told us (for most of the day) that they were fixing it and just before we went to dinner offered us a fan. We asked them to move us, which they did, at 9 pm to a smaller room but cool!! Given the price of the room (almost $700), they should have offered some compensation, which they did not. Otherwise, we enjoyed the pool and massages at the spa were great.

My sister and I had the opportunity to stay at Hemingways Nairobi on our safari trip with Micato tours. I cannot say enough about the hotel itself. An old world a**osphere, the food and service wonderful. What made this hotel exceptional was the staff. Eunice, Newton, Carol, Alice to name a few of the friendliest, knowledgeable and passionate people we have had the opportunity to meet. They all made our stay a most enjoyable time!

The staff in Kenya is expection! Walter,the Liquid Chef is phenomenal. Thank you Eddie, Yvonne and the gang. The food, service and a**osphere is outstanding!!!Thank you Hemmyway’s for a great start.The food is amazing! Views are awesome

What a gem ! This hotel nestled in a beautiful manicured park offers fantastic suites. Spacious and elegantly decorated in colonial style luxurious furniture. The massive marble bathroom can be called Wellness wing adjacent to the suite. Even the best hotel is nothing without its staff. At Hemingways you find smiling friendly and extremely well educated and experienced people who aim to make each guests stay a memorable one. My special thanks goes to Newton in the restaurant. His fresh and friendly, professional and humouristic personality makes our evening a spevial one. Thank you also to all others who indeed were dedicated to the guests satisfaction. I will come back and also recommend The Hemingways at the highest. Bernd

Hosting at Hemingways Nairobi is a breeze! I have just hosted a large table for Sunday brunch; the food was INCREDIBLE and the service OUTSTANDING - attentive but not intrusive, and no request was a problem. Shout out particularly to Victor and to Francis…but all the staff and the chefs have been amazing. - I am in awe of you all! Thank you, Hemingways Nairobi - you have delivered again!

The staff are amazing, friendly, attentive and most of all, genuine. Simple joy of having dinner and being served by Victor at the Brassiere was a treat. Victor took great care and his hospitality was beyond amazing! Highly recommend Hemingway for your stop in Nairobi!

The food and drinks here were great. The entire staff were fabulous. I loved the infinity edged pool and being able to look down at the huge watering hole with animals coming to drink. Loved this facility and the entire staff

We are 2 days into our stay here and so far our entire experience has been incredible! We thoroughly enjoyed the Sunday Buffet yesterday! Service and food were impeccable! The grounds are gorgeous and we enjoyed the beautiful live music while we dined outside. I have to recognize Frances, the pastry chef! The pastries and desserts were beyond amazing! Frances was proud, yet humble, about the entire pastry staff. I saw him recommend several items to guests and then take the pastry to warm it up to be savored. I just wish we could’ve tried everything! My husband and I got different pastries and desserts so we could sample each others. Devine!
