"Staying at the China City Hotel was an absolutely awesome experience, especially for someone who wanted to immerse themselves in the heart of Chinese culture and business. Located in a vibrant central area, the hotel offers easy access to markets, historical sites, and business hubs, making it an ideal choice for both tourists and professionals. One of the best things about this hotel is its prime location. Being in the center of Chinese culture, I was just steps away from bustling markets, authentic local eateries, and stunning landmarks. Whether I wanted to shop for traditional crafts, enjoy street food, or explore historical sites, everything was within walking distance. For business travelers, the proximity to commercial districts and transport links was a major advantage. The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, with friendly staff who were always ready to assist. The rooms were modern yet infused with traditional Chinese touches, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The breakfast buffet offered a mix of local and international dishes, which was a great way to start the day. Overall, China City Hotel exceeded my expectations. Whether you're visiting for business or leisure, this hotel provides the perfect base to experience the best of Chinese culture, markets, and commerce. Highly recommended!"

"I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights and cannot recommend it.Even if it was a soft opening, the operation is terrible. First, I checked in and went to my room, but the light wouldn't turn on even after inserting the card key. The porter said he would exchange the card key and return immediately, but he didn't come even after waiting 30 minutes. I called the reception and they finally brought it. I tried to take a bath at night, but there was no hot water. I called and waited, but there was no response. I had to go to the reception and say it again. Finally, a staff member came and said that someone had switched off the pump. After the bath, I called to ask for extra water and ice, but they never brought it again. I called twice and they finally brought it. What's worse, they brought a slip saying that a bottled water cost 700 shillings. I've stayed in many luxury hotels, but this was the first time I was charged for extra water, so I was very surprised. During my two-week stay in Nairobi, I stayed in eight hotels, but none of the other hotels charged for water. Security measures are also insufficient. They only check the visitors at the entrance, and anyone can come to the front of the room. In fact, persons in casual clothes who were clearly not a hotel employee knocked on the door twice. It was scary. In the other 7 hotels I stayed at this time, guests always needed a card key to get to the room. In addition, some hotels had security staff on each floor. This hotel should put more effort into security measures. One good thing was the service of the staff at the breakfast restaurant. I came to this hotel because I was attracted by the photos on the internet, but it was really the worst two days."

"I had a really enjoyable stay at the Swiss Lenana Mount Hotel and would happily return. From the moment I arrived, the staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. They really made an effort to help me settle in, which immediately set the tone for the stay. A standout moment for me was when the general manager personally came over to introduce himself and check that everything was going well — a small touch, but one that you don’t often experience and it made a big difference. The rooms were spacious, very clean, and clearly well maintained. It felt comfortable and relaxing throughout my stay. I also really appreciated the location. The area felt safe and pleasant to walk around, with some great places to eat nearby. While I usually stay in Westlands when I visit Nairobi, this was a refreshing change. You’re still only about a 10-minute Uber ride from Westlands and other key areas, but far enough out to enjoy quieter evenings and avoid the heavy traffic. Overall, this was an excellent experience — great location, great people, and a genuinely comfortable stay. Highly recommended."

"My stay was good and safe, its near the supermarket and easily accessible area, quiet, i would definetely go again next time and he was quite supportive when i didnt know that this wasnt an actual hotel but just a room in an apartment complex, He even changed a room for me when i thought the first one was underwhelming, not an actual room, check first photo but he later transfered me to a proper room. It was a good travel experience and learning for me as it seems i wasnt informed enough on the terminologies in accomodation. Thanks."
