Outstanding
AAnonymous UserWe had a great stay at this lovely apartment near Yaya Centre. It was clean, well-equipped with a kitchen, washing machine, hairdryer, and had strong Wi-Fi. The location is safe and convenient, close to malls, markets, and easy to get around with public transportation.
The owner was super friendly and gave clear check-in instructions. Security was excellent and the guards were always welcoming. A perfect place for foreign tourists…. highly recommended!
GGuest UserI recently stayed at The Holiday Inn Nairobi Two River Mall hotel, and it was one of the best hotel experiences I've ever had. The Room was spacious and comfortable, and the amenities were top-notch, with helpful and friendly staff. I would definitely stay here again in the future. I want to give a shout out to these wonderful staff at the hotel:
Queen
Winnie
Violet
Nicholas
Ezekiel
I can't remember every name, but I thank the staff that open the front door for me, the desk agents, housekeeping and restaurant staff who gave great customer services. I think I gained about 50 pounds with the delicious food at the Holiday Inn.
With their dedication to delivering exceptional service and quality, these individuals deserve recognition and thanks.
Thank you for great service and a job well done. I give you 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐'s

YYao bukeyanThis is a relatively new and luxurious hotel in Nairobi. Security is very strict, with security personnel questioning guests at the entrance, dogs checking for explosives, and even armed security personnel checking bags in the lobby. However, there's no need to worry about security; it's purely a government requirement. The staff at the hotel are very nice, from the front desk to the concierge and the restaurant. Everyone is friendly and willing to help with any questions.
The hotel has comprehensive facilities, including table tennis, darts, a gym, and an outdoor swimming pool. The restaurant offers a rich breakfast and excellent coffee.
The hotel's location isn't very central, so there are no restaurants nearby. You can either dine at the hotel or take an Uber to the nearby village market, which offers both food and shopping. It's very convenient.
MMiaaaaaaaXThe food at this hotel was delicious (though I personally don't like aged steak), and I really enjoyed their Caesar salad.
Regarding the room, the bathroom was long and cramped, with poor ventilation and drainage. When I tried to clean the toilet with the shower, a lot of water gushed out. The bathroom only had one door, and in Nairobi in July, it was quite cold to shower halfway.
The room I was given was on a very low floor, with only a view of the parking lot, unlike the garden view described. We were provided with a welcome drink upon arrival.
Also, the hotel and lobby were not in the same block, which was quite inconvenient, even though the lobby was right on the main exit.
I would consider dining there again, but I wouldn't consider staying there. Firstly, the facilities were average, and secondly, the location is half an hour from the city center.
In Nairobi, I prefer a quiet place, and this price is a good option.
If you have a budget, there are better options nearby.
GGuest UserThe accomodation is absolutely top range and comfortable and the place has so much to offer. Unfortunately, it appears to be running on auto pilot or poor management. These are the things which really annoyed me: 1. Arriving at night, the signage is not well lit and we struggled to establish whether we had arrived at the right place, especially the security personnel at the gate were not being very helpful. They have never been given any training to help them understand that they are the first point of contact between guests and the residency. 2. We arrived on a ”Jazz Night” but, although I am a jazz lover, it should not be foreced upon everyone. The layout of the dining area is very poorly thought out. There was no maitre d'hotel or someone to direct us as to where we should go if we wanted to eat and not listen to music. Eventually we found someone to help us walk past the music area and squeeze past the tight space to go past th bar to the dining area. The whole layout is kind of back to front. The dining area should be more easily accessible and there needs to be a way to separate the main dining area without getting rid of the dining tables in the music area. 3. The dining area is exposed at the back and there was a strong could draught that night, because the rear part of the dining area is exposed to the elements.
GGuest UserMy stay at the Best Western Hotel was excellent. The staff was warm, friendly, and always ready to assist with anything I needed. The room was comfortable, spotless, and well-organized, making my stay even more enjoyable. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort and great service.
GGuest UserThis is a real treasure of a place! The atmosphere is old world charm, the food is fabulous at TATU. The bar is excellent with service and attentiveness to you needs. The gift shop is stellar for some nice jewelry. The facilities are clean as a whistle as they say...breakfast was outstanding with so many choices. The work out facilities are just super great, and the pool is heated. Ok, lastly the ambiance of colonial Africa just fills the air, from the art, to the breezes flowing freely through this wonderful hotel!
GGuest UserI stayed at this camp expecting an adventurous experience, but it did not quite meet my expectations. The price was very high for what you get—essentially just a tent with a toilet quite far away (try walking at 3 am under umbrella to the toilet with +14C). While the adventure aspect is there, it felt like overpaying, especially considering the costs for similar accommodations in this country.
On the positive side, the bed was really comfortable, and the tent was cozy, which made for a good night’s sleep. The territory of the camp was nice, and breakfast was excellent, adding some value to the stay.
Overall, I have mixed feelings. I liked some parts of the experience, mainly the cozy sleep and the breakfast, but I would not come back or pay this amount of money again. For the price, it is not worth it in this destination.
PS shout out to the staff, they are fantastic and very nice
JJIONGThe environment is very good, if only some wild animals are raised. Breakfast is good, set breakfast and dinner, barbecue for one night to watch the show, European dinner for one night. Both are pretty good. At noon, it will be resolved next to the shopping mall. Not too many guests, suitable for vacation.
FFay AllcockThe hotel itself is in a great location. However, there are major constructions going on outside our room which started at 8am until 6pm - not the hotel’s fault, however, when we asked to move rooms with one woman and she insisted there was no construction going on, even after showing her a picture of it, so we were denied. We asked to move again the following day with a different worker who was more than happy to help. Our new room was away from the construction, so it was very quiet.
The breakfast was great, I would highly recommend it.
