Outstanding
AAnonymous UserWe had a great stay at this lovely apartment near Yaya Centre. It was clean, well-equipped with a kitchen, washing machine, hairdryer, and had strong Wi-Fi. The location is safe and convenient, close to malls, markets, and easy to get around with public transportation.
The owner was super friendly and gave clear check-in instructions. Security was excellent and the guards were always welcoming. A perfect place for foreign tourists…. highly recommended!
AA. BeeVery nice apartment. It was clean and spacious with a cute balcony. Had all of the amenities and hot water for the shower.
Non apartment related: This wasn't mentioned in the booking, but when ordering an uber/taxi, have them drive in through the security gate and wait for you. I was waiting outside of the security gate for my taxi and got my phone snatched out my hand by a motorcyclist🥲. I told the host should add it to the booking, just so guests can be aware..
Other than that. My stay was great and the host was very responsive. I'd definitely stay there again.
KKay KiatThey provided three meals, if you are a Chinese tummy I had the chance to stay at Xiaomi Homestay in Kilimani, Nairobi, and it was a refreshing mix of comfort, convenience, and cultural charm.
Location & First Impressions
The homestay is tucked away in the lively Kilimani neighborhood, which makes it easy to access restaurants, shopping malls, and transport. The property itself feels modern, clean, and welcoming — a good balance between homely warmth and hotel-like comfort.
Comfort & Amenities
The facilities were a big plus. The gym was well-equipped, making it easy to keep up with workouts, while the swimming pool was perfect for relaxing after a busy day in the city. Both amenities added great value to the stay, especially for anyone who enjoys fitness and downtime in equal measure.
Meals & Dining Experience
One of the standout features was the inclusion of three daily Chinese meals. This made the stay very convenient, especially for anyone missing home-style dishes or simply wanting a reliable, flavorful option without having to step out. The meals were hearty, authentic, and gave a unique cultural touch to the experience.
Atmosphere & Service
The overall atmosphere was warm and peaceful. The hosts provided thoughtful service, striking a nice balance between giving guests privacy and being available when needed. It truly felt like a home away from home, with just the right amount of care.
AAnonymous UserReception is very friendly and helpful. I had a spacious and confortable room. The most fantastic thing about this lodge is its location in a serene neighborhood. I highly recommend this place to all.
I stayed for two nights. The 1st day breakfast is self service but the 2nd day is order to make. Self service is so much better because I could take just the portion I needed and I finished all I had got. On the 2nd day, it was hard on the waitress as she needed to serve serve 6 guests at the same time. Snce she gave regular portion of everything to me, food wastage was caused. I felt guilty that I could not finish all the food and drink offered. No fruit was served as compared with the 1st day.
GGuest UserI stayed at this camp expecting an adventurous experience, but it did not quite meet my expectations. The price was very high for what you get—essentially just a tent with a toilet quite far away (try walking at 3 am under umbrella to the toilet with +14C). While the adventure aspect is there, it felt like overpaying, especially considering the costs for similar accommodations in this country.
On the positive side, the bed was really comfortable, and the tent was cozy, which made for a good night’s sleep. The territory of the camp was nice, and breakfast was excellent, adding some value to the stay.
Overall, I have mixed feelings. I liked some parts of the experience, mainly the cozy sleep and the breakfast, but I would not come back or pay this amount of money again. For the price, it is not worth it in this destination.
PS shout out to the staff, they are fantastic and very nice
PPagophilusNice, friendly BnB style airport hotel. Clean, spacious rooms. Service is very polite and friendly. Located maybe 20 minutes drive from the airport, in a gated compound with security. Staff provide a nice breakfast as well
It provides a welcome alternative to the large, well-known but overpriced airport hotels near the international airport in Nairobi. We're happy to have experienced Kenyan hospitality and not paid a ridiculous amount just to stay overnight before another flight.
It's off the main road (use Google to guide you, the location is correct). Fairly quiet neighbourhood, but you can hear planes taking off and dogs barking sometimes as well. But overall, we had a good sleep and were refreshed.
The water pressure was on the low side, but you could have a warm shower.
@@ana_umdieweltA great hotel in the center of Nairobi! We had a room on the 15th floor with a view of the city skyline. The service was excellent, both at the reception and in the restaurant. On the day of departure, the chef even packed breakfast for us at 6 AM so that we had something for the road. On the top floor there is a cool bar with a panoramic view, snacks and a good selection of drinks (beer around 2 USD). If you want to use Uber, the driver may wait on the corner and not directly in front of the hotel because the street is quite narrow. The security staff are at the door 24/7 and will also help you order taxis. We felt very comfortable and safe, thank you very much! (I'm uploading a photo of the view from the bar)

FFay AllcockThe hotel itself is in a great location. However, there are major constructions going on outside our room which started at 8am until 6pm - not the hotel’s fault, however, when we asked to move rooms with one woman and she insisted there was no construction going on, even after showing her a picture of it, so we were denied. We asked to move again the following day with a different worker who was more than happy to help. Our new room was away from the construction, so it was very quiet.
The breakfast was great, I would highly recommend it.
GGuest UserI was staying in several guest houses in Nairobi. Javilla Eagles Safari Guest House was outstanding. The service was excellent. The employees always helpful in every regard. The rooms were clean. Big windows for daylight in the room. The windows could be even opened for fresh air. The breakfast delicious. Even they do not have a restaurant, they were willing to cook for me in the kitchen regarding my choice. The neighbourhood is silent. The big problem is only the location, if I had business or visits in the City Center. After 9:00 hours in the morning I needed by taxt 35 minutes. Before that time I needed more than 1 hour. Avoid rush hour in the evening, as it could take you 2 hours from the Center to the Guesthouse. If you have only taxi rides to the airport, the location is perfect.
ИИрина, РоссияA very pleasant apartment near Jomo Kenyatta Airport. The area is new, with new apartments and villas being built nearby. The location is good for a few nights. The room is clean and has everything you need. There's also a well-equipped kitchen and ironing facilities.
