Outstanding
GGuest UserI only stayed at JW Marriott Nairobi for one day, but it was more than enough to make a great impression. From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming and made everything feel easy and comfortable.
The hotel itself is beautiful, modern, and very well kept. My room was spacious, cozy, and thoughtfully set up, with a lovely view of the city. It felt like the perfect place to relax, even with such a short stay.
I also really enjoyed the food — everything I tried was fresh and well prepared, and the atmosphere was calm and inviting. Overall, it was a great experience, and I’d happily stay there again, even if just for a quick visit.
MMavisheeheelauAfter 15 days traveling across Kenya, I can confidently say that Purple Sun Hotel stands out as one of the best in terms of value, facilities, and service.
The shower features a handheld option (a rare but appreciated detail), and the staff are exceptionally friendly and warm.
What makes it even better is its location — right next to Chinatown — which means my craving for Asian food was perfectly satisfied. Highly recommended!
GGuest UserI had a really pleasant stay at The Panari Hotel, conveniently located near Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. The room was very comfortable and clean, and the bed was excellent — perfect for a good night’s rest before or after a flight.
The check-in and checkout process were smooth and friendly, and the staff were professional and helpful. The airport drop-off service, though charged separately, was on time and well-coordinated, which I appreciated.
The food was amazing — definitely one of the highlights of my stay. The only downsides were that the shower was broken (though I managed to adjust) and that the rates were a little on the expensive side for what’s offered.
Overall, it’s a comfortable, clean, and convenient hotel with great food and service — just a bit pricey and in need of a few minor fixes.
YYao bukeyanThis is a relatively new and luxurious hotel in Nairobi. Security is very strict, with security personnel questioning guests at the entrance, dogs checking for explosives, and even armed security personnel checking bags in the lobby. However, there's no need to worry about security; it's purely a government requirement. The staff at the hotel are very nice, from the front desk to the concierge and the restaurant. Everyone is friendly and willing to help with any questions.
The hotel has comprehensive facilities, including table tennis, darts, a gym, and an outdoor swimming pool. The restaurant offers a rich breakfast and excellent coffee.
The hotel's location isn't very central, so there are no restaurants nearby. You can either dine at the hotel or take an Uber to the nearby village market, which offers both food and shopping. It's very convenient.
GGuest UserThis is a real treasure of a place! The atmosphere is old world charm, the food is fabulous at TATU. The bar is excellent with service and attentiveness to you needs. The gift shop is stellar for some nice jewelry. The facilities are clean as a whistle as they say...breakfast was outstanding with so many choices. The work out facilities are just super great, and the pool is heated. Ok, lastly the ambiance of colonial Africa just fills the air, from the art, to the breezes flowing freely through this wonderful hotel!
AAnonymous UserIt was a comfortable stay with good service. Food was good. As im a tourist from overseas, not sure if my diarrhoea was from the dinner/breakfast here or it was from not being used to the food/food from the previous place. Nonetheless, enjoyed my stay. My partner did not get diarrhoea so am not too concerned that it is the hygiene of this place. Everything looked good with good security
GGuest UserThis was a quick stop. The hotel staff was friendly, and considerate to give us a wake up call without requesting for one. They were aware of the early morning flight as the checkout was done late night previous day. The bedding was comfortable, good AC but there was a weird smell in the washroom.
Had a quick check at the indoor pool, which quite small.
Overall good enough for a night stay between flights.
SSammyjake95Nice hotel. More upmarket than others. Very clean and offers a good service. I would recommend they do some more maintenance however, especially with the men’s steam room. It’s quite run down.
XXiangxiaolong(nuochengguangfu)A gathering place for Chinese people, with a lot of information, it is very helpful for business visits. It is the first choice for Chinese people who come to Kenya for the first time. The food tastes very authentic, especially the Sichuan cuisine.
