I stayed in Room 217. Overall, the location and check-in process were excellent, but there are several areas where the hostel could significantly improve. **What could be improved:** 1. **Room ventilation and smell:** The room had a persistent unpleasant smell, somewhat like urine. In my opinion, this may be related to inadequate air circulation, with stagnant air combined with air-conditioning. Occupants also hang clothes outside their beds, which contributes to the problem. The hostel should consider installing automatic air fresheners and, more importantly, improving the ventilation/air-exchange system so that fresh air can properly circulate through the room. 2. **Bathrooms:** The bathrooms were not maintained to a good standard. Towels were left on the sinks, and the bathroom windows were often left open. More regular cleaning and maintenance would make a significant difference. 3. **Door lock and noise:** The electronic door lock takes some time to get used to, particularly when entering the password. The door also makes considerable noise when opening and closing, which can disturb people sleeping in the room. Installing soft-close or silent door closers would be a simple but useful improvement. 4. **Access to upper beds:** Getting onto the upper beds requires considerable effort. A small ladder or better-designed access would make this much easier, particularly for heavier or less mobile guests. 5. **Towels:** Only one towel was provided for the entire stay, which I found insufficient. Providing at least one fresh towel per guest per day, with the option of requesting replacements, would be preferable. 6. **Luggage storage:** The storage space beside the beds is suitable mainly for a cabin bag or backpack. Larger suitcases cannot be accommodated and are therefore piled up inside the room by guests, making the room feel crowded. Some dedicated luggage storage for larger suitcases would greatly improve the experience. **What I liked:** - **Excellent location** – very convenient and well connected. - **Easy check-in and check-out** – the process was straightforward and convenient. - **Fast and spacious lift** – particularly useful when carrying luggage. - Morning tea and biscuits are appreciated.

The place is incredibly clean, I'd even say spotless. I stayed in an all-female dorm and didn't sleep well at all. Every night, someone would come back very late, usually around 3 or 4 AM, and then someone else would wake up early, around 7 or 8 AM. So, if you're a light sleeper, I wouldn't recommend booking a shared room; you really won't get any rest. The shared bathrooms and showers were tidied up daily and very thoroughly cleaned. There aren't many washing machines in the laundry room, and if you handwash, there's nowhere to hang your clothes. Once, I hung my clothes in a common area and someone took them down. The Black woman at the front desk, after taking my items and giving them back with a warning, seemed quite pleased with herself. I have no idea why she was so happy???? Encountering a good front desk staff member is really a matter of luck. Some are very polite, while others can be quite condescending.

I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was not very spacious, but it was comfortable and had everything I needed. The location is convenient and easily accessible, making it easy to get around. The hotel was clean and well-maintained. Overall, it offers good value for money, and I would recommend it to others.

Great location, very close to the subway station, and there's a bus stop right across from the hostel, making it super convenient to get to all the attractions. The overall environment is clean and tidy, and the staff are very friendly and patient with any questions. It offers excellent value for money, especially perfect for backpackers!

What a brilliant concept and place. The main differientation from other capsule hotels is that each pod is secure, lockable and deathly quiet from noise on the streets. Arab st is very lively in the evening with lots of music playing. The hostel lost points because house keeping was very poor. Stayed 4 nts and no one cleaned the bathrooms, check that there was enough toilet paper or picked up piles of hair in the drainer. Urgh. One toilet seat in the three bathrooms (on each floor) was detached and not fixed. Do not reach below the mattress or you will find a handful of ouse, dust and hair. There was no hot water on Floor 2; thankfully the weather was warm enough. Was told that Floor 3 had hot water on day 3! Apart from the state of the bathrooms, the capsule itself was comfy with fast charging outlets, even a little telly and mood lighting. I do recommend this place. The owners will do brilliantly to have better housekeeping. Receptionist was bright, friendly and welcoming. My messages were promptly answered to self service check in. A great experience and for those on a budget...the capsules were brilliant. Thankfully during my stay, other guests were respectful and quiet. That is the thing that wouls make or break. Good luck.

Unfortunately, I spotted a cockroach in the room I'm staying in. I hope the management will do something about it. In fact, a few rooms that I have stayed in have had small cockroaches. Overall, I am happy with the staff’s service but only need to look into the cockroach issue. That is the reason, I rated the cleanliness average 🙏🙏

Our room, though small, was clean and tidy, which made for a very pleasant stay. The whole hotel had a fresh feel to it, and the front desk staff were very helpful. Both female receptionists we encountered, and the male receptionist with darker skin, provided excellent service. The hotel offers luggage storage, and its location is very close to the MRT station for Sentosa, with a large shopping mall nearby. It's an excellent place to stay if you're visiting Universal Studios. I'd like to advise others considering the same room type that, although our room had a glass window, it couldn't be opened. It can get a bit stuffy without the air conditioning on.

We booked two rooms for four guests. While one room was acceptable and had properly functioning air conditioning, the experience with the second room was extremely disappointing. Initially, we were assigned a room where the air conditioner was leaking water directly onto the bed. The bed was positioned against the wall directly beneath the air conditioner, making the room unusable. We immediately reported the issue, and the hotel staff agreed to move us to another room. This gave us the impression that they were already aware of the problem. Before leaving the hotel, we briefly tested the replacement room, and it appeared to be functioning normally. However, when we returned at night and went to sleep, the problems became much more serious. Although the air conditioner was set to 16°C, the room remained uncomfortably warm throughout the night, with an estimated temperature of 25–26°C. It felt as though only a fan was running, making it very difficult to sleep. In addition, the air conditioner continued leaking water onto the floor, creating a safety hazard. The unit also produced a loud, continuous noise similar to a cricket chirping, which disturbed our sleep for the entire night. I recorded a video as evidence, but unfortunately Trip.com only allows photo uploads. To make matters worse, the water faucet in the bathroom also leaked during use, indicating poor maintenance of the room. Overall, this room clearly suffered from multiple maintenance issues, including: A malfunctioning and leaking air conditioner. Ineffective cooling despite being set to the lowest temperature. Excessive noise from the air-conditioning unit. A leaking bathroom faucet. This experience fell well below the standard we expected. We paid for a comfortable stay but instead experienced an uncomfortable and sleepless night due to issues that should have been identified and repaired before the room was offered to guests. Given the number and severity of the maintenance problems, we believe appropriate compensation is warranted. We also hope the hotel will address these issues promptly so that future guests do not have the same experience.

The check-in process was quick and hassle-free, which was great after a long day. But they require deposits. The room was clean, comfortable, and had all the basic amenities I needed for a short stay. The bed was cozy, and everything was well-maintained. The location was also convenient, with easy access to nearby shops and transport. Since it was just a short stay, I didn’t get to try all the facilities, but everything met my expectations. I would recommend this hotel for a quick and comfortable stay.
