Momentus Hotel Alexandra

Momentus Hotel Alexandra

📍 323 Alexandra Rd, Singapore
★★★★ 9.0 (2,947 reviews)

"This hotel is a great value for money in Singapore. The room size is probably one of the biggest for this price range, and it's clean and comfortable. The view from the window is beautiful, and there's a pool downstairs. Plus, there are plenty of dining options and easy transportation nearby. However, I do have a suggestion for the hotel: please don't give single female guests rooms with connecting doors. It's a bit unsettling, and I hope this feedback is taken into consideration."

Village Hotel Changi by Far East Hospitality Hotels in Singapore

Village Hotel Changi by Far East Hospitality

"The hotel was extremely unclean and the check-in experience was unacceptable. Upon arrival, the initial room I was assigned appeared to be either occupied or inaccessible, as the key card indicated a privacy lock (yellow light), suggesting the room was still in use. I had booked a deluxe room for a short overnight stay ahead of an early morning flight to Bangkok. I was not concerned about the room category — my only expectation was a clean and functional room. I returned to reception and informed the staff member of the issue. I requested any available room on Level 3, as I needed access to the laundry facilities after two weeks of business travel across Europe. However, the staff member insisted that only superior rooms (a lower category) were available. I reiterated that room type was not important — cleanliness and practicality were my priorities. Upon entering the reassigned room, I was extremely disappointed to find it in a highly unsanitary condition. There were visible blood stains on the floorboards and table, hair in the sink, and what appeared to be bodily residue around the tap and basin area. Dust was present throughout the room, and the coffee mug was dirty inside. Additionally, it was highly unprofessional to see a room number scribbled and written manually on the mug. This level of cleanliness and service falls well below acceptable hospitality standards, particularly for a hotel of this category."

"The facilities are really old. The shower is one of those where you have to stand in the tub, and the showerhead is a fixed, old-fashioned one on the wall. There's no window in the room, and no ventilation either, so the air quality isn't great. The worst part is the glass exterior wall – pulling back the curtains was a truly awful sight (see picture). The only positives are that the room is quite spacious and the location is fairly convenient."

"I had a wonderful stay at Pullman Singapore Orchard. The hotel’s location is excellent, right in the heart of Orchard Road, making it very convenient for shopping, dining, and exploring Singapore. The room was modern, stylish, and spotlessly clean. The bed was extremely comfortable, and I had a great night’s sleep. Housekeeping did an excellent job every day, keeping everything fresh and tidy. What impressed me the most was the outstanding service. Every staff member I met was warm, professional, and genuinely helpful. They always greeted me with a smile and made me feel welcome throughout my stay. The breakfast offered a great variety of delicious food, with both Asian and Western options. The quality and freshness of the food were excellent. The hotel’s facilities, including the swimming pool and gym, were also well maintained and enjoyable."

Village Hotel Katong by Far East Hospitality

"The room was quite spacious, but the facilities and decor were quite old. Also, the air conditioning was very noisy, making it hard to sleep at night. I checked out early with the help of Trip.com."

Holiday Inn Express SINGAPORE KATONG by IHG ★★★★
"The hotel's location is fantastic. It's right next to a subway station and bus stops, making transportation incredibly convenient. There are shopping malls and historical buildings nearby, and convenience stores are just a short walk away. Compared to other city-center hotels, the room was quite spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. The shower has a clever wet/dry separation design, with one door serving two purposes, which was very practical. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious, so we always left feeling full. Overall, it's a great hotel."

AMBASSADOR TRANSIT LOUNGE - T2, SINGAPORE CHANGI AIRPORT (AIRSIDE) ★★★
"Since I had to go to work the next day after arriving back home, I really needed a good night's sleep, so I booked this airport transit hotel. It's affiliated with the Ambassador Lounge across the way, meaning after six hours of sleep at the hotel, I could still use the lounge for another three hours of rest. Overall, the value for money was pretty good. The room was small, but it had all the necessary amenities, including towels, slippers, toothpaste, and a toothbrush. Although the bathroom was communal, it was divided into private cubicles, each with its own toilet and shower, and quite spacious, offering excellent privacy – exceeding my expectations. Of course, the price is higher compared to similar hotels outside the airport, but the convenience, cleanliness, and good service make it well worth recommending for an overnight layover."

Siloso Beach Resort - Sentosa ★★★★
"Honestly, I've never stayed in a hotel that offered such poor value for 900 RMB. The environment gets a 0 – the air conditioning noise at night was exactly like being on an airplane, so loud it was unbearable. The AC noise was absolutely massive. The bathroom was so cramped that one person barely fit, the toilet was covered in ants, and there was a strong, unpleasant odor. I won't go into more detail about the environment; just look at the pictures. Zero service. Super bad environment, aircon tooooo annoying. If you want to leave the resort, you need to take a lift to the 8th floor, walk through the reception, then go downstairs – that's a long way out!! The bathroom is too small, too smelly, it’s definitely a waste of money and ruined my holiday!"
