"This is a long-standing five-star hotel in Singapore. I stayed here for eight nights this time. It's my top choice for business and family trips to Singapore, offering great value for money. **Excellent Location** The location is superb. Right opposite the hotel exit is an MRT station. Although it's not a major line, it's convenient to get anywhere with a quick transfer. Within five or six minutes' walk, there's a large shopping center, The Great World, which has plenty of dining, shopping, and local specialty food options. The surrounding area is also a hub for tourist attractions, easily reachable by taxi or a few MRT stops. **Hotel Design** Given its five-star heritage and recent renovation, the rooms and hotel interior are very new and spacious. I was particularly impressed by the in-room coffee machine and water dispenser. Enjoying a rich cup of coffee while getting ready in the morning [smiley emoji] is a lovely touch. **Hotel Facilities** The swimming pool, gym, conference rooms, and restaurants are all well-equipped. **Service** I didn't get much chance to experience the service as I came back late and was out all day. My only minor complaint is the poor soundproofing. Perhaps it was because I was next to a door that seemed to lead nowhere, and the opening/closing sounds were loud. I could also hear cleaning staff making noise in the mornings. However, the front desk handled it very well, and they were much more careful afterward."

"Bath tub but had no hot water. Good central location just skip throw away from subway. Ultra convenient. Ambiance leaves a lot to be desired. They have a vent system that has a bit of background noise, it is not loud but noisy enough to notice when you are sleeping. Room is also not so well lighted. Having different light sources with different warm and white tones. The towel color also changes from blue stripes to tattered white to normal white in the 3 nights we stayed- what a variety. Generally it is a good value for money. For business people. With twin rooms at an affordable rate, if you plan to visit what Singapore has to offer and you just need a place to sleep that is in the city center."

AAnonymous UserWe arrived at 8:30 AM, and our reserved room wasn't ready yet. The front desk staff saw that we were tired and traveling with a small child. After getting our consent, she kindly upgraded our room, allowing us to get our room key early and rest. We're very grateful to this female staff member, though it's a pity we didn't catch her name. Overall, the hotel's dining and room service were excellent. We'll definitely choose The Ritz-Carlton again on our next visit to Singapore.

GGuest UserThe front desk staff had an abysmal attitude; I didn't feel like I was being served at all. There was absolutely no useful information provided – nothing about the hotel's shuttle service, the fact that the kids' club costs extra, or details about adding breakfast. The service was utterly terrible. Having stayed at so many five-star hotels, I've noticed that only the Chinese front desk staff provide the worst service, while those who speak English are far superior. The Splash water play area was good, but the Buds indoor playground charges a fee. The bakery on the first floor offers inexpensive bread that's huge and affordable. However, the Louge restaurant's prices are outrageously expensive, probably double what you'd pay outside. A bak kut teh, which normally costs around 20 SGD elsewhere, is 40 SGD here – you'd be better off adding breakfast to your stay. The location is also quite remote. Given this level of service, I won't be returning. The hotel itself is beautiful, though.

AAluodunyingfusuSummary: The room was spacious, as was the bathroom, wardrobe, and windows. It's incredibly convenient for getting around, with two malls downstairs (Ya Kun and others are practically on your doorstep) and bars. The subway station is also very close. There's a capsule coffee machine and TWG tea bags. The overall feel is quite classic, but it's a bit dated in places, like the hairdryer. It's one of those old-fashioned, long-bodied ones that makes your arm ache to use – I haven't seen one like that in years. The toilet is also quite old. But that doesn't mean it doesn't work well. Also, the hotel completely ignored my request for a high-floor room 😥😥😥 The service was very good. It happened to be Easter during Qingming Festival, and they even gave me a chocolate egg – a huge one! The flavor was really rich and pure; I even brought it back home with me. It only takes 20 minutes to walk to Marina Bay Sands and Merlion Park. Just as other reviewers said, it's a great value-for-money choice for travel. 🤦‍♀️ Sorry, I didn't take any photos of the hotel, only one of the Easter chocolate egg. The other two pictures are of nearby malls: one is called Millenia Walk, and the other is Suntec City.

XXi䒤This hotel is absolutely beautiful! I booked an extra night here after my initial stay because I loved it so much. When I mentioned the hot water wasn't working well, they promptly fixed it the same day, and the hot water was perfect that evening. The hotel's tropical Southeast Asian decor is stunning, and I especially enjoyed the view from the balcony. Breakfast in the morning is a buffet style, and as soon as I walked in, a staff member greeted me in Chinese and helped me understand the menu. Every time I approached the front desk with a request, the staff were incredibly dedicated and helpful.

MMdm ChanA Truly Magical, Tranquil Escape Back to Nature with Exemplary Service (with some room for culinary improvement). If you are looking for a wonderful place to just completely chill, do absolutely nothing, and fully recharge your batteries, the Mandai Rainforest Resort by Banyan Tree is an absolute dream. Nestled right against the Upper Seletar Reservoir, the entire resort is beautifully furnished, impeccably designed, and exudes total tranquillity. Waking up early in the morning to the crisp calls of birds, followed by the gentle chirping of crickets as dusk falls, genuinely makes you feel like you've been transported miles away from the city and straight back into pristine nature. The rooms themselves are incredibly spacious, luxurious, and lovely. A thoughtful highlight was the smart design feature that automatically pauses the air conditioning the moment you slide open the glass panels—allowing you to comfortably let the fresh forest air circulate inside. Spending hours on the pool deck soaking in the magnificent ”forest discovery” panoramic view was another highlight of our stay. What truly elevates this eco-luxury experience, however, is the stellar team. The resort has clearly trained its service staff to the absolute highest standards. Everyone we crossed paths with along the guest corridors greeted us with the utmost courtesy and warmth. Special commendations must go to Mr Tac from the front counter for his wonderful hospitality, Ms VG and Ms Nuril at Forage for their welcoming energy, and Mr Des at Planter's Shed. Their excellent, highly attentive services rendered and genuine smiles made us feel deeply valued. Also, I received a lovely cake for my birthday! That said, a couple of administrative and culinary hiccups kept this from being a completely flawless stay. Upon arrival, the digital kiosk's auto check-in machine failed to scan my Singpass NRIC. As a local resident rather than a tourist, I didn't have my physical passport, and like most Singaporeans nowadays who rely entirely on digital documentation, I didn't carry a physical NRIC. Thankfully, Mr. Tac stepped in swiftly and graciously handled our check-in manually. The dining options also left a bit to be desired. Restaurant Forage provides a beautifully exclusive dining ambience, though the choice of food remains quite limited. On the other hand, the dinner buffet spread at Restaurant Planter's Shed was unfortunately a disappointment. For a premium resort attached to a major local attraction, a price point of $80 per person sets high expectations. Unfortunately, the execution fell short: the basmati rice was slightly undercooked, the seafood herbal soup was overly salty, and the grilled lamb, beef, and pork were noticeably too oily. Furthermore, the overall spread was only lukewarm, the sashimi choices were remarkably sparse (consisting only of salmon and tako), and the fruit selection provided for the chocolate fondue was quite pathetic. For a lower price, there are plenty of excellent buffets available across Singapore, so the culinary standard here definitely needs an upgrade. Overall, it is a magnificent sanctuary that completely nails the ambience and hospitality. With a few refinements to their digital check-in flow and an overhaul of the buffet quality, it will easily become an unbeatable world-class retreat. Suggestions: - Tech Upgrades: Optimise kiosk scanning software to properly recognise and scan mobile phone screens displaying the Singpass app. - Buffet Enhancements: Upgrade food warming equipment to ensure dishes are served hot, expand the premium sashimi selection, and introduce higher-quality tropical fruits for the chocolate fondue station. - Adult Guided Hikes: Create tailored morning or twilight nature trails specific to adults that venture into the nearby reservoir pathways.

GGuest UserI stayed for three nights, and it was a mixed bag, for your reference. Pros: 1. Every staff member I encountered was incredibly enthusiastic, and their English was great. The concierge service was also fantastic, whether it was at breakfast, in the hallways, or during check-in. 2. The room was very clean and comfortable. Drinking water was delivered daily, and there was a mini-bar with complimentary sodas and other items. If you wanted more, though, you had to pay extra. 3. The hotel's location is truly excellent. Taxis are readily available, and the City Hall MRT station (red and green lines), which I used frequently, is just across the street, about 200m away. Within a 10-minute walk, you can reach churches, the National Gallery, and museums. 4. The breakfast selection was decent, with both Asian and Western options. Before the meal, they always asked if I wanted coffee or tea. 5. The bedding was comfortable, neither too soft nor too firm, and all the toiletries were well-stocked. The water temperature was stable, making for a pleasant shower. Cons: 1. The hotel is built around a shopping mall. So, either your room faces inward towards the mall's windows, offering no view and being noisy until 10 pm, or it faces the street, offering a good view but with clear road noise from cars and motorcycles throughout the night. Since the entire building is only four stories tall, outside sounds are quite audible. 2. The hotel is older, and the drainage for the sink, bathtub, and shower was very, very, very slow.

NNiannianyouliThe room was spacious with a great view. The staff were very attentive and service-minded. **Cleanliness**: Very clean, and the bathroom was large with a great wet/dry separation. **Facilities**: Everything was very new, and the pool water was changed daily. **Service**: They proactively helped with luggage, opened car doors, and even used their hands to shield me – they really pay attention to the details.

JJJun..Had a very enjoyable stay at ONE°15 Marina Sentosa Cove. The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. One thing I really appreciated was how cold and refreshing the air conditioning was, especially considering how hot the weather outside was. The location was also very convenient. The hotel provides a free shuttle service every 30 minutes to VivoCity, which made getting around very easy. There are also many restaurants within walking distance, along with supermarkets like Cold Storage and Little Farms nearby, so it was very convenient for food and daily necessities. Breakfast was enjoyable as well, with good variety and accommodating service. I especially appreciated being able to request a customized fried rice without soy sauce and gluten, which was a thoughtful touch for dietary preferences. Overall, it was a comfortable and relaxing stay with great convenience and excellent service. Would definitely consider staying here again.

GGuest UserOverall, the experience was quite good. However, the air conditioning was too cold, and I ended up catching a cold when I returned to China. The room itself was quite spacious. The tea provided in the room was a relatively expensive Singaporean brand. The hotel isn't far from the beach, but you have to walk down a cliff to get there, so it's not super close, but a manageable walk. The sunset in the evening was absolutely beautiful, and the breakfast was also excellent; my kids loved it. All in all, this hotel offers great value for money. There are even peacocks freely roaming around the hotel grounds.

LLisaShi_LawI wasn't entirely happy with the price. I booked it for over 5000, but on the day of check-in, it was over 4000. Even though I had a refundable booking, there was a price difference of over 1000. I didn't even check at check-in... However, the staff were all excellent, from the front desk to room service, everyone was very welcoming. Hearing Chinese made me feel right at home! The room facilities are a bit dated. The toilet in my room was broken, but thankfully still usable... On the bright side, the snacks and drinks were complimentary, which was a nice touch. The hotel breakfast was good and suited a Chinese palate. I even wondered if it was run by Cantonese people because I saw the Big Rooster Bowl! For those heading to the island later, you can take the mini-train to the Bay Station, then switch to Bus B for two stops. Hope this helps!
