GGuest UserI continued staying at this hostel for a second night. In the morning, I saw two people who looked like staff in the living room, and it turned out they were indeed the front desk. One guy spoke Chinese, and the other, a dark-skinned woman, didn't. Their 'workstation' was literally the dining table in the living room – absolutely wild! It's worth noting that the toilet and shower are combined, with no separation between wet and dry areas. Also, for some reason, on the second night, someone was constantly packing their luggage until 2:30 AM, which meant I didn't get a good night's sleep. If you're sensitive to noise or need a quiet environment, you might want to think twice before choosing this place.

JJamieJRepeat stay. The kind staffs at the front desk is what keeps me coming back. A big thank you to the front desk staff, especially to the female bespectacled staff. I was given an ideal capsule but was not able to have a good rest due to a neighbor constantly on the phone and having her meal on her capsule. Thankfully the staff was aware and tried to persuade her to take it outside at the community area but to no avail. Instead the staff suggested to have my capsule changed and I had an awesome rest throughout my stay thereafter. Grateful to have this staff around. 🥰

GGuest User1st time trying capsule hotel in singapore, it's cleaner than expected, and nice lobby ammenities. Hot water also available all time, with good water pressure too. No showerheas tho, only rainfall shower. My only problem is that it's hard for me to feel rested. Perhaps I am unlucky, my room single suit pod, that was assigned to me is different than ordered picture whereas it's ”open” on the end side, not the length side like in pics. Furthermore it's at the end of the hall so it felt a bit like suffocating coffin per se. Then on the matter of soundproofing.. very minimum. Earplug is provided, but it wont help with the bumps and vibrations of machines. My room is at the end of hall, and beside the utilities room perhaps? At 6am+ cleaning workers will start, and I can no longer rest in that state.. every sound vibration travels to that ”coffin” bed so yeah.. unless u can treat it as white noise, can easily wake one up. Overall it's worth the price and cleanliness, but next time I will definitely request a different room or ask actual photo of my assigned room first.

KKP93Everything was ok, the location, amenities, facilities. Bed was comfy. Only con is that I woke up at 4 am and couldn’t sleep at all after that due to the bed bug. T.T the itchiness lasted a week. Ive always been very cautious when booking a dorm bed cos I encountered similar issues before. I didn’t find any reviews about bed bugs in google, booking, trip com. This I guess this could be a sole case. Hopefully the owner can make improvement with this and I wi definitely give it a chance again.

YYueguangxiadewanzilunFor a country as expensive as Singapore 🇸🇬, a hostel priced in the 100s is definitely great value for money. Many local Chinese people stay here, and you can learn about Singapore's history by chatting with them. The closest MRT stations are Lavender and Jalan Besar, and it's also very near Little India, making it super convenient to get to all of Singapore's major attractions. There's a food court right downstairs, which is probably one of the cheapest dining options in Singapore, helping you save a lot on food. I stayed here for three days and thought it was pretty good!

AAnonymous UserI had a wonderful stay at BEAT. Arts Hostel during my trip to Singapore. The hostel is impressively clean, especially the bathrooms and hallways, which are well-maintained throughout the day. I really appreciated how tidy and organized everything was — it made the stay comfortable and relaxing. Another great thing about this hostel is its excellent location. It’s very accessible, with MRT stations close by, making it easy to get around the city. It’s also just a short walk from Chinatown, so finding food, shops, and cultural spots was incredibly convenient. Overall, BEAT. Arts Hostel is a perfect choice for travelers who value cleanliness, convenience, and a great location in the heart of Singapore. Highly recommended!

AAnonymous UserThe bunk beds were a bit wobbly, you could feel every movement. It's close to Chinatown, so it gets noisy at night. I'd recommend bringing earplugs and keeping the windows and doors closed. The bathroom and shower stall were quite small.

AAnonymous UserI finished my night shift at 1:30 AM and looked for a hotel close to work, so it was convenient to walk a few minutes there 👍🏻. The price was affordable. The hotel slippers cost $1.00, but my size 37 feet found them small. The hygiene was just okay; the bathroom floor was wet, so I had to wipe my feet with wet wipes when I got back to my bunk 😅. The room door was noisy every time someone went in or out. My bunk was on the top, and the ladder was high and difficult to climb up and down 🥲. I tried connecting to the Wi-Fi several times but couldn't. In the middle of the night, everyone was sleeping, quietly using their phones, which was very peaceful. Each bunk had a curtain and a small light. I went to bed at 3:30 AM, and the bed was comfortable. However, my ordeal began at 5:30 AM. Someone started packing, and at 6:00 AM, someone turned on the main light to pack. There was the sound of zippers, rustling paper bags, talking, and the noise of people coming and going through the door. The main light being turned on and off made it impossible to sleep. I was so annoyed and frustrated in bed 😡 until I finally got up. This experience taught me how difficult it is to sleep in a room with over a dozen people. I won't be booking this hostel again 🤦🏻‍♀️.
