"Given the low price, I expected a very small room, but it was more spacious than I imagined. The high ceiling also made it feel airy and comfortable. I liked the web-based check-in process, but I was a bit stressed at first because the assigned door code didn’t unlock the door right away. The room itself wasn’t dirty, but there were quite a few small insects, which affected my comfort. Also, there was a minor leak around the toilet, which was disappointing."

It is definitely the best hotel I have stayed! I be planning to come back this year again! Thanks for such amazing service from Bellboy, reception and horizon lounge - the bellboy even helped to bring our items back to the car without me asking! When checking out, also during checkout, a few receptionists offered to help to bring the luggages out during checkout. Thanks a million Shangrila!!!!

The room was very clean, and the staff were all quite friendly. I hesitated for a long time before booking, as I saw reviews saying that Singapore's facilities were old and the service wasn't good. After actually checking in, I felt everything was pretty good. I specifically requested a quiet room when booking. The room was exactly like in the photos. The air conditioning vent made a bit of a noise, just the sound of air coming out, but honestly, after being tired from exploring all day, it didn't affect my sleep. The room door wasn't soundproof, and I could hear doors closing outside, but that only happened occasionally, so it wasn't noisy. The shower had great water pressure, and the hairdryer, though old-fashioned, was powerful. Every day, they provided five bottles of purified water, six coffee capsules, and tea bags, and even a complimentary pack of cookies, which was a nice touch. Suntec City is right across the street; you just go through an underpass to get there. There are all sorts of food options, and it's convenient and sheltered from the sun. The subway station is only about 50 meters away, making getting around very easy.

Excellent location with landmark tower building on top of MRT, Raffle City Shopping Mall & lots of quality f & b outlets within walking distance. Professional guest relationship staff greeted upon checking in & out making it seamlessly smooth. A generous size bedroom with a King size bed, well designed bathroom with rain shower makes one feel on vacation. LVL 65 club lounge & LVL 70 Bar was a great place to chill with unbeatable views of the city. Both the bedroom & bathroom were very clean with quality Pillows, towels and bathrobes. Could be better to make it even better will be to provide more generous afternoon tea as compared to competitors. Certainly will come back for the unbeatable views.

Staying within Mandai Wildlife Reserve makes it incredibly convenient to walk to the zoo. The hotel is beautifully integrated with nature, lush and green, exactly how we like it. If you're spending at least two days in Mandai, it's definitely worth considering this place for the sheer convenience. The breakfast, as many have noted, has a seemingly long buffet line but isn't particularly diverse. However, you can always find something good to eat if you pick and choose. I especially liked the DIY fresh fruit and vegetable juices. Service varies from person to person. All the ladies I encountered were very friendly, especially when I arrived early to drop off my luggage; their warm and thoughtful service truly made me feel at home. The Chinese-speaking gentlemen at the front desk were also very attentive, patiently and meticulously answering questions, and specifically informed me that the shuttle bus to the Bird Paradise was free. The bellhops were also super nice. On our first day, we stayed at another hotel, and our Grab driver mistakenly dropped us off here. They clearly directed us where we should go and even explained how to walk over the next day. When we checked out, one of them quickly ran to help carry our luggage downstairs, and at the car, someone else immediately took over to load it. These were all different individuals, showing that this level of service is their standard. However, there were also very frustrating aspects. Apart from the ladies at the front desk, several dark-skinned male staff members were unhelpful and wore cold expressions. In the room, I could hear a sharp 'green beep' noise every few seconds, constantly. After opening the door, I confirmed it was coming from outside the room. At 9 PM, I played a video recording of the noise for a dark-skinned staff member at the front desk (who wasn't short), and he said someone would be sent to fix it immediately. When I returned from a walk after 10 PM, the noise was still there. The in-room phone to the front desk was always unreachable. Eventually, I had to call the front desk from my mobile phone for someone to answer, and they said they'd send an engineer. It took about ten to twenty minutes for someone to arrive and resolve it. When they opened the door, I saw the hotel's utility room across the hall was open, and the noise was indeed coming from there. This was truly exasperating; there was no follow-up communication or apology afterwards. Is it because I had a recording that they finally dealt with the issue after I reported it at the front desk and called repeatedly? It was really annoying and spoiled the mood.

Oakwood Premier Raffles Place Singapore

We stayed at this hotel in July 2026. From Changi Airport, we took the MRT. After clearing customs, you need to follow the signs for 'Train to city' or 'MRT'. On the way, buy an Ez-link card at one of the tourist kiosks. We were offered an unlimited pass for $40, but we declined and bought top-up cards for $10 each, valid for our transit period in Singapore. From Singapore Airport to the city center, you first need to travel two stops to Tanah Merah station, alight at platform B, and then board a train marked 'to city' from the same platform. This is on the Green Line. Get off at Raffles Place station. Then, go up the stairs or take the elevator, and once upstairs, look for Exit D or E. Exit D is closer and more convenient for the hotel, but it goes through a shopping mall which might be closed in the evenings or on weekends. From either exit, turn right and walk along the main road without turning off. The main entrance of the building where the hotel is located leads to the CapitaSpring business center. You don't need to enter there; instead, walk a few meters past the main entrance on the right side, towards the taxi stand, where you'll find the hotel entrance. From there, you need to go up to the 9th floor, where the reception is. The hotel has three elevators: one for the reception from the 1st to the 9th floor, which is accessible to everyone. The second elevator goes from the 9th to the 17th floor and can only be used with a room key card. This elevator leads to the guest rooms. The third elevator is on the 17th floor in the garden and leads to the 51st floor observation deck, which is only open on weekdays until 6 PM. Water dispensers are located opposite the elevators on each floor. To use the elevator to the rooms, you need to tap your key card and select your floor on the panel; the panel will then indicate which of the three elevators (by a letter designation) will arrive. The staff were polite. There was no deposit required upon check-in, but they asked for a credit card number for registration. The rooms are clean, cozy, and have a good view. The renovation is fresh. The curtains are practically blackout, providing excellent darkening. However, there's a green sensor light on the ceiling in the room's hallway that seems quite bright at night, like a nightlight. This didn't bother us, but if you want to sleep in complete darkness, you won't be able to without a sleep mask. The soundproofing in the rooms is good; we couldn't hear our neighbors. The room has everything necessary, including a refrigerator, an ironing board, and an iron. There's also a safe, a capsule coffee machine, tea and coffee making facilities, and even soft hangers in the wardrobe. The pillows felt uncomfortable to me, but that's probably the only drawback. The room was cleaned daily; trash was emptied, and towels were changed. The Wi-Fi was good. Overall, we liked the hotel, including its central location.

I had a wonderful stay at Pullman Singapore Orchard. The hotel’s location is excellent, right in the heart of Orchard Road, making it very convenient for shopping, dining, and exploring Singapore. The room was modern, stylish, and spotlessly clean. The bed was extremely comfortable, and I had a great night’s sleep. Housekeeping did an excellent job every day, keeping everything fresh and tidy. What impressed me the most was the outstanding service. Every staff member I met was warm, professional, and genuinely helpful. They always greeted me with a smile and made me feel welcome throughout my stay. The breakfast offered a great variety of delicious food, with both Asian and Western options. The quality and freshness of the food were excellent. The hotel’s facilities, including the swimming pool and gym, were also well maintained and enjoyable.

Let me start with the unexpected issues. Twin rooms are quite rare in Singapore, or they're very expensive. Most hotels assign rooms randomly. I specifically requested a twin room and no connecting room. I arrived at the hotel at 3:30 PM. There was no Chinese-speaking staff, and my English is practically non-existent. Through gestures and a translation app, I was told there were no rooms available and I had to wait. I paid a 200 SGD deposit and finally got my room key at 5:00 PM. As soon as I entered the room, I was stunned – it was a king-size bed. As a mother traveling with an 18-year-old son, this wasn't going to work. I went back to the front desk, and they said my booking was for a king-size bed. Due to the language barrier, communication was impossible. I said I'd contact the booking platform to resolve it. The front desk quickly pulled out a translation app and said they would apply for a room change for me and would notify me if one became available. However, they said it was impossible for that day as all twin rooms were occupied. I immediately contacted Ctrip and received the same response. Ctrip apologized and offered compensation. Left with no choice, I asked for an extra duvet and slept on the floor for a night. The next morning, I went to the front desk to ask about the room change. The staff member from yesterday wasn't there. A Chinese-speaking front desk agent said she couldn't see any room change request in the system. I asked what to do, and she told me to come back before 12 PM. Again, I had no choice but to contact Ctrip. The Ctrip staff told me they'd respond within half an hour, so it wouldn't delay my sightseeing. Within half an hour, they informed me they had contacted the hotel, and the hotel manager checked the system and confirmed there were indeed no rooms. They would contact me if a room became available. As I was about to complain further, the hotel proactively contacted me to say a room was ready. This experience taught me that when booking overseas hotels, Ctrip is excellent for after-sales service. The king-size room on the 10th floor that I got on the first day, although it was a connecting room, wasn't noisy, and the room had no strange smells. The bathroom was large. The twin room I moved to on the 4th floor was also good and not noisy, but it had a slight smell, and the bathroom was much smaller. Overall, the hygiene was good, and the hotel's location is superb. Most major attractions are within a 15-minute walk.

lyf Funan Singapore boasts an unbeatable location. The hotel is situated entirely within Funan Mall, with seamless underground access to City Hall MRT station, just a three to four-minute walk away, protected from the elements. Merlion Park, Marina Bay, Clarke Quay, and Fort Canning Park are all within walking distance, making returns after a day of sightseeing effortless. Downstairs, you'll find restaurants and supermarkets, covering all your dining and shopping needs. The convenience for getting around is top-notch. The hotel's service is gentle and attentive. The 24-hour front desk staff (including a helpful lady who speaks Chinese) are warm and enthusiastic. Check-in is efficient and smooth, and they patiently answer questions about directions and attractions. Luggage storage and various other requests are handled with care and discretion. The overall facilities are modern and well-equipped, with a simple yet contemporary design. The rooms are clean and tidy, feeling very much like a home away from home. Public areas include a spacious lounge, a shared kitchen, a self-service laundry and drying room, and a gym, making it comfortable for extended stays. The high-speed WiFi is stable throughout, and the rooms are fully equipped, balancing trendy design with practical experience. Having visited Singapore multiple times, I always choose to stay here. The excellent location, attentive service, and comprehensive amenities make the entire trip exceptionally worry-free and comfortable.

Had a very enjoyable stay at ONE°15 Marina Sentosa Cove. The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. One thing I really appreciated was how cold and refreshing the air conditioning was, especially considering how hot the weather outside was. The location was also very convenient. The hotel provides a free shuttle service every 30 minutes to VivoCity, which made getting around very easy. There are also many restaurants within walking distance, along with supermarkets like Cold Storage and Little Farms nearby, so it was very convenient for food and daily necessities. Breakfast was enjoyable as well, with good variety and accommodating service. I especially appreciated being able to request a customized fried rice without soy sauce and gluten, which was a thoughtful touch for dietary preferences. Overall, it was a comfortable and relaxing stay with great convenience and excellent service. Would definitely consider staying here again.
