Excellent
AAnonymous UserThis guesthouse has so much character, it truly felt like visiting a friend's home. The hosts were incredibly thoughtful and welcoming. The uncle often invited guests for tea, and the cats were absolutely adorable. Our stay was incredibly comfortable. The room and courtyard decor were beautifully rustic and charming, making us feel completely relaxed. We'll definitely stay here again next time we're in Quanzhou.
My only small suggestion is that the toilet seat was slightly smaller than the toilet itself. It would be more comfortable if it were a bit larger.

MMelodycheungI absolutely have to recommend this B&B! The hostess is incredibly warm and friendly. She even upgraded my room for free when I checked in, which was a wonderful surprise. The room was spotlessly clean and tidy, making for a very comfortable stay. The smart home devices throughout the room were convenient and easy to use.
The location is truly unbeatable, right next to the West Street Bell Tower. It's super convenient for shopping and dining, yet it's surprisingly quiet, so sleeping at night was undisturbed. The hostess also provided a super detailed and practical travel guide, saving me a lot of planning time. Plus, you can even get coffee in the lobby, which really added to the experience.
When I left for the high-speed rail station, the hostess even gave me a ride since it was on her way – so thoughtful and caring!
Overall, it was a perfect experience with excellent value for money. I highly recommend staying here if you're visiting the area!

GGuest UserThe staff were extremely friendly and helpful throughout my stay. They provided useful itinerary suggestions, and food recommendations.
As a foreign guest, the staff proactively shared their WeChat ID and it’s recommended to share yours as well, as they are cautious about scams. Communication through WeChat was smooth and very helpful. A RMB 200 deposit is required, but as a foreigner there was no issue with the transaction. They were also kind enough to help me operate the washing machine, which I really appreciated.
The room was clean and well-kept. The bed was comfortable, and I especially liked the pillow—it suited my preference well. One small thing to note is that it took a bit of time to figure out how to maintain a consistent shower temperature, as it would sometimes be too hot or too cold.
Also worth mentioning: part of my room had a low ceiling. You’ll need to be careful when standing up—I bumped my head a few times during my stay 😅.
Overall, it was a pleasant and comfortable experience with very attentive service. I would still recommend this homestay, especially for travelers who value helpful staff and local guidance.

JJay87Wanran is a charming Minsu homestay nestled in a beautifully preserved 100-year-old house, surrounded by a walkable neighborhood filled with heritage shophouses, cozy cafes, local eateries, and even a shopping mall. It’s the perfect balance of old-world charm and modern convenience.
This family-run homestay — hosted by a lovely couple and their two children — offers a genuine and welcoming experience.
The guest room is a renovated part of the old home: clean, comfortable, and equipped with all the essentials.
Beyond the nostalgic architecture, what makes this place truly special is the tea room. It’s a hidden gem filled with rare and high-quality teas sourced from various regions. Guests are warmly invited to sit, sip, and chat — not just about tea, but also about culture, stories, and everyday life.
Even as a foreigner with only basic Chinese skills, I felt completely at ease spending time in the tea room, exchanging thoughts with the host. Language wasn’t a barrier at all — tea became our shared language.
This was my first time staying in a tea house, and it left me with beautiful memories. If you're looking for something authentic, relaxing, and deeply rooted in local life and tea culture, Wanran is a must.

AAnlimThe accommodation is a room in a triple storey terrace house in a quiet area. It is in quite a central location but you need to walk about 7 mins from the main street to get to the house. The area is safe to walk in even when at night. There many food shops along the main street. You can also catch the white mini bus there. Our room was on the 2nd floor (Chinese 3rd floor). It was quite cold when we were there. There is no hot air conditioning. We were given a small heater. It kept the room warm but it couldn't dry the tiled flooring so the floor got messy from us walking in & out from the bathroom. Otherwise, the place is very clean. Toiletries & slippers provided. There is a washing machine on the top floor, free to use but no dryer. Our clothes had difficulty drying as the drying area is a room with closed windows. Shower area & toilet is together. There is a small room where you can hand wash your clothes if you want to buy I wouldn't advise that as drying is difficult. No lift. There is no fire escape since it is a private house. You need to contact the owner to inform him ahead of your date & time of arrival as he is not there all the time. He is friendly & helpful.

Very Good
AAnonymous UserMaybe I happened to encounter a bad environment at that time. I felt that the sheets were not very clean. The white sheets looked yellow, and I did see oil spots on the sheets. The experience was not very good, so I checked out after one night (and thank the store for agreeing to refund me). However, I really felt that my mental energy was exhausted after one night, so my friend and I changed the ticket directly. I hope that the store aunt can pay attention to hygiene, but the store aunt is still very good in communication. It’s just that we didn’t sleep very well and felt tired. It may be because the difference is too big compared with Meizhou Island (of course, it is also due to the price. The more expensive one may be better), so the overall impression of Quanzhou has been reduced. Sorry, the above is just my personal opinion. I really feel a little tired.

Ssmz59Even though I only stayed for one day, it left a great impression on me. First, the location is excellent, very close to the West Gate of Kaiyuan Temple, just 200 meters away, and the surrounding transportation is very convenient. Second, it has a 'winding path to a secluded spot' feel; from the room, you can see the West Pagoda up close and the East Pagoda in the distance, offering tranquility despite being in a bustling area. Finally, the owner's service was exceptional, not only providing detailed travel tips but also ensuring the room was clean and comfortable. All in all, it's a homestay worth revisiting.

This homestay can grab Didi anytime. The shop Opposite hotel is 老字号马蹄酥&黄衍明口腔科 as later i will put picture for ur reference. Then u follow the signboard go in the alley then can find the homestay.
