Very Good
GGuest UserGreat location, fast wi-fi, comfortable bed. Laundry room was a really nice bonus.
As for the downsides... On the first day people kept entering my room with their keycards, and not all of them were hotel workers, which was creepy. One night some neighbours were **********. Good for them, not so good for my sleep — so the soundproofing could be better. And I also got allergic to the shower gel which never happened before.
So it really was a 50/50 experience

GGuest UserIf you think about stay here because free airport transfer, just remember only one time service per schedule, event there’s a lot of customers, the shuttle will not came back to pick up or drop off, you have to wait to next schedule to pick or drop off.
Other than that the hotel is clean and ok stay for transit overnight l.
GGuest UserThe hotel is in a great location, near the palace, and across the street is a shopping mall and transportation hub, which makes dining and shopping very convenient. The hotel is a renovation of an old building, so the facilities are not so modern, but they are sufficient. There is just no kettle, and you need to pay a deposit to the front desk. The surprise is that the room we booked has a balcony, so you can breathe fresh air.
MMrWong888After traveling extensively in China, returning to Spain highlighted some noticeable differences, particularly in Madrid. While the city and its infrastructure may feel a bit outdated compared to other global hubs, the Hotel Madrid Chamartín Affiliated by Meliá was a decent and comfortable place to stay.
The hotel’s location is its strongest feature—it’s directly across from Chamartín Train Station and its adjacent subway station. While the train station and subway facilities are not the most modern or impressive, the convenience of being so close to transportation hubs is a definite plus. The street leading to the hotel is a bit unusual, set on a slope, but it’s manageable.
The room was clean and functional, though slightly dated. The beds were comfortable, albeit with older spring mattresses that could use an upgrade. Despite the slightly worn feel, the room provided a comfortable space to rest after a day of exploring or work.
The standout feature of this hotel was undoubtedly the breakfast. It was absolutely amazing, with a wide variety of fresh and delicious options that catered to different tastes. It was easily the highlight of my stay and set a great tone for the day.
The service was also pleasant and friendly, which is a nice touch, especially given the sometimes lackluster service standards in Spain. The staff were helpful and made the stay more enjoyable.
Overall, while the Hotel Madrid Chamartín Affiliated by Meliá may not be the most modern or luxurious option, it offers good value for its location, a comfortable stay, and an exceptional breakfast. If you’re looking for a convenient and reliable place to stay near Chamartín Station, this hotel is a solid choice.
GGuest UserGreat location, very nice breakfast, there is also a Starbucks right outside the enterance which is nice. Literally a two minute walk to Gran Via street where you can find anything you could possibly need. The staff was polite, the rooms were clean and very quiet at least on the 5th floor :) Overall would recommend and come back again. Gracias Madrid!

11369131****Cleanliness: Very clean, just a bit old-fashioned in terms of facilities.
Environment: It's pretty quiet on weekends, and there's a large mall nearby for dining and shopping needs.
The highlight is their breakfast, which is very affordable and offers great value for money, but you need to book it when you reserve your room.
MMaria Huang ZHSNot a 24 hour front desk. There are no slippers or anything and no welcome water. The location is safe right next to the US Embassy. So it's in a good area. Is the price okay?
WWei Kion• The bed was very comfortable and provided a good night’s sleep.
• The air conditioning did not have heating, but the blanket was thick enough to keep warm; the temperature that night was around 13°C.
• The room was very spacious—enough to fully open two large suitcases on the floor with plenty of space left to walk around.
• The bathroom included a hairdryer.
• The shower drain seemed slightly clogged, causing slow drainage; we had to keep the water pressure low while showering.
• No drinking water was provided in the room, but the front desk informed us that the tap water from the bathroom sink is safe to drink.
• There was no kettle in the room, but you can request hot water from the front desk—they kindly provided it from the cafeteria free of charge.
• Although the hotel is not located right in the tourist center and isn’t within short walking distance to major attractions, it has excellent transport links: there are both a bus stop and a metro station right outside and around the corner.
• It’s very convenient whether you’re arriving from Atocha Station or heading to key destinations like Madrid Royal Palace, Moncloa Bus Terminal (for Segovia express), Plaza Eliptica (for Toledo express), or Estacion de Autobuses Madrid Sur (for Porto overnight bus).
• The front desk staff were extremely friendly and helpful. On the day of check-out, we left our luggage there for free while we visited Toledo. When we returned around 6:00 PM, they even provided hot water for our instant noodles. We rested in the cafeteria for a few hours before heading to catch our overnight bus to Porto.
• Their assistance made our trip much smoother and more comfortable.
BBeishangdaokuqidebingxiangOverall it was satisfactory, but except for the episode when I checked in. This hotel has no front desk, all by phone or WhatsApp. But I didn't say anything before I checked in. And I needed a password to enter the room, and I didn't receive it. Contacted the hotel customer service, uploaded the passport photo to receive 😅 In addition to this, the overall is very good, the location is very convenient, about 8 minutes to go out is the subway station, taxi can also be called

SsheilaThe location is perfect, because it is next to Gran Vía, as for the facilities, the beds are very uncomfortable, the shower is small and without a screen, so when you wash your hair all the water comes out and you wet a towel.
