YYigeananfangqibudongshidemengThis is a great value, small guesthouse in Madrid. The rooms are small but clean and bright. The location is excellent, within walking distance to Retiro Park, Mercado de San Miguel, Sol metro station, and Plaza Mayor. The hotel is right on the street, making it super convenient to return after shopping. It's simple and clean, with a small inner courtyard garden. There's a small common lounge where you can use the internet, boil water, and a shared fridge for groceries. Several supermarkets are nearby. However, I wouldn't recommend being out too late.

GGuest UserThe hostel was very clean, cozy and beautiful. There is no reception, and everything is managed with codes. I received the details 24 hours before check in and had no issues.
The female dorm was gorgeous and well decorated with individual plugs and lamp on every bed. The only thing I would be concerned about is that I don't know what the screening process is for guests. I'm not sure how easy it would be for man to accidentally or intentionally book a female dorm and just be able to access it. I did see cleaning staff during the day, but I don't know if there's anyone there at night to check.
The location was perfect and it was also close to a metro station, so going to the airport at 7am was a breeze.
I would recommend it to anyone!

VVanessaDThe hostel’s ac kept turning off in the evening, which made it very warm at night as it is the summer. However the staff was available to help at any time of night and they turned it back on. The hostel is located very centric and it makes it easy to go out and explore the city. It’s close to a museum and the subway if you plan to explore further away.

The staff are friendly
I like the public area on the ground floor, if there could be more charging place would be nice.
However, only 2 bathroom for 12 people is not enough. One of the bathroom only have cold water and the sink is outside the toilet.
I think it is a fair option for such a price in the city, still there is an improvement.
If you are a solo traveller that need a short stay, it is an acceptable choice.

TTatjana46Lovely stay, great staff. Huge underbed storage for personal belongings, and they give you a keycard to access it for free. Towels are only €2 to hire for your stay. Coffee from the coffee machine is €1.50, and a glass of sangria was about €3.
They had no problem with me working in the common area all day during the week, which was very accommodating.
Didn’t really use the kitchen but there was a big communal fridge and a toaster.
Only improvement could be to supply basic body wash in the showers but again not really necessary.
Stayed here for a week at only £16/night. Also right next to Príncipe Pio, which is handy to get to the airport from.
Area felt very safe.

GGuest UserI felt something biting me when I slept on the bed, which was very uncomfortable. The toilet and bathroom were good. The location is convenient, there are many restaurants and supermarkets nearby, and it is close to Dayangmen Square. The staff are very service-oriented.

SSwaterfieldI was in a shared female dorm. Nice bed and location. A towel was provided but be prepared for a cold water shower. No real kitchen to speak of. Just a small iced over fridge and microwave. It’s in a nice location and easy to walk to all the hot spots.

GGuest UserThe entrance sign is small and a bit awkward, but once inside, a comfortable space unfolds. It's not a large space, but you can feel the host's thoughtfulness. Transportation to Tolerance is convenient, it's close to Retiro Park, and there are many large supermarkets nearby, making shopping convenient. The kitchen is small, but it's perfect for preparing simple meals and is kept clean. The host is always attentive to cleanliness and greets you with a friendly, welcoming smile. It felt like coming home when I left. I stayed for four days and it was great. I didn't get to say goodbye at the end. Thank you all for everything.
