NNikoas4Some people in the stuff speak english. The name of the hotel is Madison Hotel, not the one that trip says (but the photos on Trip show it). It's a 20min walk from the train station but that's because next to the train station there's nothing. In front of the hotel there's a bus stop for many bus lines. Unfortunately lanzhou (at the time of my review) only has 2 subway lines and it's easier to move by bus even though the traffic in the city is maddening. The hotel is extremly luxurious and there are also washing machines and dryers. This is the birthplace of Jiafei make sure to visit all the places she has been to during your stay.

MMichael V.People at the reception were friendly and very helpful. The room with a large window has great view over the Yellow River and was fine, everything worked well, as to be expected from Atour. We arrived very late in the night, when the restaurant was closing, but we were told where we could still get some night snack (the famous Lanzhou beef noodles, very tasty) about 12min. walk along the river to the left. The hotel has a nice rooftop restaurant, where one can enjoy a panoramic view over the city. A bus stop right in front of the hotel, or an easy catch of a taxi makes getting around town easy.

GGuest UserAfter traveling on the Qinghai-Gansu Grand Loop and returning to Lanzhou, considering that we had to catch an early flight the next day, we arranged this hotel near the airport. The quality of Holiday Inn Express is still online. The room is bright and warm, the flow is well arranged, and the bathroom is all Kohler, which is very comfortable to use. When checking in, the front desk saw that we were members and said that there were free drinks, so we changed two bottles of water. There are many types of breakfast, both Chinese and Western, and there are very authentic Lanzhou beef noodles. Next time if I need to be close to Lanzhou Airport, I will choose this one again. 😁😁

GGuest UserThe hotel was chosen by a friend. We stayed there for one night and didn't care much. We used points to exchange for it, so we didn't have to worry about it. As a result, the service was a big surprise. First, we were upgraded to an executive suite and then we were given a late check-out service. I would like to praise the free shuttle bus provided by the hotel, Mr. Yang, who picked us up from the train station to the hotel and then from the hotel to the train station. This greatly improved our travel efficiency. I have to give a big thumbs up.

CCoach Patrick RedThe room is great, although this time we had an issue with the morning to the airport service. We arrived on time at 6:20am and there was no room in the shuttle that was scheduled. It’s very stressful to wake up early and make sure you don’t miss a flight, and they clearly overbooked the shuttle, even though we specifically arranged this the night before.
A rude family pushed past us too and the hotel staff didn’t really communicate what was going on. I appreciate the hospitality during the stay, but guests shouldn’t have to worry about missing a flight from rude other guests and miss-counted shuttles.

GGuest UserA very cost-effective hotel, the room is decorated in a grand style, the service is very good, and it is clean. Coffee is also provided in the lobby, with many flavors to choose from. The hotel can also pick up and drop off the airport, which is free, but you need to make an appointment with the hotel in advance. The front desk introduced me to a place where I can camp. I took my family out for a walk. The scenery is very good. I will choose to stay here next time

WWitidaI recommend everyone to stay here especially if this is the first time you come to Lanzhou. The hotel located on 9th-10th floor in Yaou department store, opposite of Xiguan subway station. You take the lift of the department store and go directly to the 9th floor to check-in. The staff didn't speak English or some could a little but they would help you kindly and politely. When we asked for doing laundry they did it for us for free. The room was clean and cosy. Since the hotel is in the center of the district you can find everything you need and the zhongshan bridge is about 5 mins on foot.

GGuest UserThe hotel is right next to the pedestrian street of the West Station. It's on the upper floor of Lanzhou Center. It's very convenient. You can walk out of the subway station and go shopping and eating at night.
The environment is very good. The bathroom ventilation is also silent, with independent central air conditioning. It's perfect.
The exquisite king-size bed room we booked was not cleaned when we arrived. The beautiful lady named Kaka helped us upgrade directly, and her service attitude was super good. She took me to see the room. Thank you very much.

SShahzanDiDi ride to the hotel was easy and check-in was smooth. We loved that pedestrian street Zhangye Road was just 150 meters from the hotel and night market Da Zhong Xiang was 500 meters. The hotel has two elevator locations, one right under the sign that says Courtyard Hotel and another one through a small alley on the right side of Bank of Gansu which you will see is situated in the same building as the hotel. Must go to 5th floor for reception. Bathroom amenities and towels were replaced daily. Small issue is some parts of room were dusty, window not cleaned and I wished there was a bidet spray for washing.
