"This hotel is quite pricey for Lanzhou, but it's definitely worth the money. The location is top-notch, right by the Yellow River, and very close to Zhongshan Bridge, Waterwheel Garden, and the Du Zhe Museum, making transportation very convenient. The hygiene is excellent; everything is clean and tidy. The staff also asked every day if I needed housekeeping, which was a nice touch. The service is also top-tier. When I arrived by taxi, a staff member immediately helped with my luggage, and a robot even delivered my takeout orders directly to my room. The only thing that could be improved is the interior design. For example, the bathroom doesn't have a small sink, and the air conditioning is central, so it can't be adjusted independently in the room. For someone like me who gets hot easily, it wasn't cool enough."

"Arrived in Lanzhou on May 22nd to participate in a marathon and booked a room at the Hilton Garden Inn Lanzhou Hekou (Yellow River Waterwheel Park Branch). The hotel is conveniently located next to Nongmin Alley, and its 52-story height makes it very prominent. I took the subway to the hotel, and it was just a 5-minute walk, two intersections away, from the station. Parking is free for guests. The lobby on the first floor is very grand, with a cafe and a gift shop. The front desk is on the 51st floor, and check-in was quite fast. The front desk informed me that the hotel provides race-day breakfast, and I just needed to register for it. My room was on the 32nd floor, a small room with a good view. It had a kettle and a hairdryer. The TV screen was large, and the toilet was a standard type. The shower had a slight issue; the showerhead was clogged and kept dripping after use, but the hotel maintenance fixed it. The race-day breakfast was decent, with a croissant, a muffin, milk, and an apple."

"The Sheraton Lanzhou has been the best hotel experience on my Qinghai-Gansu grand loop trip so far! The hotel boasts top-notch facilities and a beautifully designed, comfortable atmosphere. The scenic rooms offer stunning views of the Yellow River banks, encompassing the entire Lanzhou skyline. Moreover, the hotel's breakfast spread is incredibly rich, with specialty dishes like beef noodles made fresh on the spot. The cakes from the in-house bakery are especially delicious, easily rivaling those found in Shanghai. In the past, whenever I visited Lanzhou, I always stayed downtown, where traffic was incredibly congested and parking was a hassle. This Sheraton, being away from the bustling city center, is much quieter. Plus, getting to the city center is super convenient with a metro transfer right on B1. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Lanzhou."

The facilities are good too; it would be even more convenient if there was a coffee table to place things on. What truly impressed me the most was the hotel's service. All the staff members were warm and friendly, including the cleaning aunties, who provided timely and attentive service. They even thoughtfully prepared a 'cheer-up' kit for us participants of the Lanzhou Marathon, which included various snacks, cooling patches, and band-aids – something I've never encountered before! There was also a special backdrop in the hotel lobby, showing how much effort Lanzhou as a city put into making this event a success. It was truly touching. The hotel is conveniently located less than a 10-minute walk from Matan Metro Station, with plenty of bus routes nearby. I really enjoyed Lanzhou Old Street; it has everything for dining, lodging, and entertainment. I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit to Lanzhou."

It's also super close to the Eighth Route Army Office (next to Nanguan Ethnic Street), making it easy to walk back to the hotel after visiting the attractions. This time, I happened to be there during a rare snowfall in Lanzhou, and the city center was surprisingly quiet. The hotel felt like a little haven hidden in the heart of the city. Sipping coffee, watching the snow fall, and looking out the window created a wonderful atmosphere that instantly cured my fatigue! The room was spotless, the bedding was so soft I didn't want to get up, and the service was incredibly attentive and responsive. The breakfast selection was excellent, and the food was delicious – perfect for a satisfying meal before heading off to explore! Stay here when visiting Lanzhou; the experience on a snowy day was simply divine! Not only is it great value for money, but it also made you feel right at home.
