"I specifically flew to Quanzhou for the local cuisine, so I picked this hotel located on a food street, without breakfast included. It's perfect for solo travelers. There's a great local vermicelli soup shop nearby, which is perfect for breakfast. While the shops on the food street mostly cater to late-night crowds, there are plenty of delicious local specialties in the surrounding blocks. It's in a bustling area with excellent transportation links, making it easy to get to attractions around Zhongshan Street. Even if you're not into sightseeing, staying at the hotel is great too – the rooms are spacious and well-equipped, the lobby on the first floor is quite striking, and the service is very thoughtful. They even let you know in advance if some rooms might be affected by noise at night. It's definitely a hotel with amazing value for money!"

"The hotel service was top-notch, everyone was incredibly enthusiastic! They even gave us a souvenir after we checked out. You can pre-book a taxi right across from the hotel, and there's a bus stop nearby with routes to the Bell Tower, so the location is excellent! The seafood noodles at breakfast were delicious!"

"The front desk upgraded me to a larger room, which was more than enough for one person. The location is excellent, with a direct bus from the high-speed rail station. I could walk to the Tianhou Temple and Guandi Temple. It's about four or five stops from the old city. My electric scooter wasn't very useful, so I relied on the bus for most of my travels. Best of all, right next to the hotel is a food street with tons of options, so you don't even need to seek out famous internet-hyped spots."

"I absolutely have to give a perfect 5-star rating to the InterContinental Quanzhou Taihe! A special shout-out to Raymond at the front desk; his service was truly impeccable, so warm and thoughtful. When he learned this trip was for an academic milestone, he proactively arranged a high-floor room for us and even gave us an extra breakfast. Whenever we had any issues during our stay, Raymond was always quick to respond and actively helped coordinate a solution. On the second day, he thoughtfully upgraded our room type, granted us executive lounge access, and even sent a complimentary fruit platter. The entire stay was exceptionally comfortable. Additionally, the hotel's breakfast selection is incredibly rich, offering all sorts of local Quanzhou specialties, and the flavors are outstanding. The room offered expansive views with an excellent landscape outside the window. This is definitely my top choice for accommodation when visiting Quanzhou, and I'll choose InterContinental Taihe again on my next visit! Highly recommended!"

From the day before check-in, Belle enthusiastically and meticulously shared various tips for our stay, along with recommendations for Quanzhou cuisine and city walk routes. On the day of arrival, she kept us informed about the local weather and followed up throughout our stay to ensure everything was perfect. This truly showcased the hotel's high-quality service. The hotel's location is absolutely prime, right in the center. The Bell Tower is right before your eyes, and West Street, Kaiyuan Temple, Zhongshan Road, and all directions are easily accessible – getting anywhere is super convenient. Guests can also book an exclusive golf cart for a tour of the ancient city, travel photography, fun tea-making experiences, and evening cocktails. It really allowed us to experience the charm of Quanzhou and step into the olden days of Southern Fujian."

"My main feedback this time is about the hotel's housekeeping. First off, as an established local star-rated hotel in Fujian, the hardware facilities at Yuewah are indeed quite old. On the first night, I booked the 'Ai Ai Parent-Child Room' for over 2800 RMB a night. It didn't quite match the promotional pictures – there was no living room coffee table, only a play table, and no children's body wash. When I inquired at the front desk about children's toiletries, they said they only had children's toothbrush sets. I also noticed that the existing toiletries on-site had a production date of December 2024. Even with a three-year shelf life, that still feels quite odd. Furthermore, the linens are so worn out, yet Yuewah still hasn't replaced them. If you knew it was a five-star hotel, you'd be shocked; otherwise, you'd think it was a rural guesthouse. It's truly outrageous."

"The location is excellent, right in the bustling West Street. The hotel facilities are also great. They have an open-air cinema in the courtyard with beanbag chairs and a canopy, perfect for chatting. The staff are all very enthusiastic and will help carry your luggage to your room. On the third-floor terrace, there are two washing machines and two dryers, with free laundry detergent provided. I was very impressed with the facilities. The room offers disposable towels and toilet seat covers, which are both thoughtful touches. Overall, I'm very satisfied. Upon check-out, they even gave us pineapple cakes and a fridge magnet as a gift."

"Let's start with the service. The front desk lady was truly attentive and dedicated. Next, the location: right in the heart of the ancient city, yet quiet amidst the hustle and bustle, surrounded by numerous restaurants and snacks. The room was simply and elegantly designed, and visibly clean. The front desk was staffed even late at night, and the waiter was always quick to deliver anything we asked for. The only downside was that while the B&B offered free parking, we hadn't thought it would be easy to find parking in the ancient city, especially around West Street, so we didn't drive. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I drive!"

"We had a pleasant and comfortable stay at Country Inn by Radisson Quanzhou Wanda Plaza & Lingxiu. The room was spacious, the beds were very comfortable, and the complimentary coffee and drinks available in the ground-floor area were a thoughtful touch. The reception staff were also friendly and helpful. However, the room could be improved in two areas. First, there were insufficient hooks or wardrobe space for guests to hang their clothes. Second, the bathroom would be more practical with separate shower and toilet areas. With the current layout, only one person can use the entire bathroom at a time. This was inconvenient for four guests, as no one could use the toilet while another person was showering. Overall, it was a comfortable stay, but these practical improvements would make the room much more convenient, especially for families or groups."
