My friends and I all thought this place was fantastic. Tingjian and Wanggui are located in a separate, ancient-style courtyard, full of Zen charm. The owner was incredibly helpful and accommodating. The hotel's cat, Tangyuan, is also adorable. You can go pet her anytime in the old house, and they even thoughtfully provide freeze-dried treats for her. That little cat just can't resist food! We'll definitely stay here again next time we're in town, highly recommended! The location is also super convenient; most of Quanzhou's attractions and shopping are nearby, making it easy to get around. The food recommendations from the owner were also top-notch, absolutely superb!

WuyuelidexueStayed here with my child during the May Day holiday. Yongchun doesn't have any 5-star hotels, so I chose this one. The hotel entrance isn't grand, but the garden setting is beautiful. The room was very spacious, and the smart toilet and tea table were thoughtful touches. The front desk staff were enthusiastic, and parking was convenient, making it suitable for a family vacation. The breakfast also featured some local Yongchun specialties. Overall, I was satisfied. A couple of suggestions:
1. For breakfast, there was no packaged yogurt, only the kind from a machine. I suggest offering packaged yogurt instead.
2. There was an argument among guests at the noodle station due to the queuing order. I understand the chef works hard, but I suggest the hotel improve its management, for example, by giving out number tags and calling numbers, so guests don't have to constantly watch if their noodles are ready.

The location is excellent, right on Zhongshan Middle Road, very close to West Street, Guandi Temple, Kaiyuan Temple, Confucian Temple, and many other attractions – all within a 15-minute walk. There are plenty of popular spots nearby, including great food and unique coffee shops. The hotel itself is very clean, and the service is excellent and very welcoming. The only minor downsides are that, perhaps due to its downtown location, the breakfast area is a bit small and the selection isn't huge. Also, it doesn't have a full range of public facilities like a gym or pool. However, these didn't detract from the overall stay experience, as the in-room facilities are quite new. I would definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit Quanzhou.

The location is excellent, Wen'a Water Marll, Shuimen Guozai noodles paste walk for 3 minutes, very close to the Confucian Temple and Guandi Temple. The stargazing room is very hypnotic at night, the store service is good, the day before the phone will confirm, send the precautions of the house, especially the washing machine can be washed and dried together. The room is relatively clean!

This guesthouse boasts an excellent location, right within the West Street of the ancient city. The 3rd-floor rooftop offers fantastic views for photographing the Kaiyuan Temple twin pagodas, easily rivalling popular cafes. I personally witnessed the bedding being changed after each guest, so hygiene is definitely assured. The owner is also very friendly and welcoming. Given the low price, it's incredible value for money. Highly recommended!

Stepping through the wooden doors of Shangqing Tower, nestled in Huitong Lane off West Street, you're immediately immersed in the ancient charm of Southern Fujian. This guesthouse, transformed from a Qing Dynasty ancestral home, boasts authentic red brick tiles and swallowtail ridges, offering a tranquil escape from the bustling main street. It’s incredibly therapeutic.
Both the front and back courtyards have their unique appeal. The front courtyard, with its stone table and rattan chairs, is perfect for enjoying tea and casual chats. The back courtyard, featuring white sand and lush greenery, exudes a strong sense of Zen. Our duplex room was very comfortable, with wooden furniture blending seamlessly with ancient beams. The tatami tea corner by the window offered a cozy spot for relaxation. Smart devices allowed for voice control, perfectly combining modern comfort with ancient elegance.
The family breakfast in the morning was wonderfully authentic. Plus, it's just a few minutes' walk to West Street, Kaiyuan Temple, and the Bell Tower, making it super convenient for sightseeing and grabbing a bite. Every detail of the guesthouse shows thoughtful care. You can truly experience the historical essence of Quanzhou while enjoying a comfortable stay. If you want to deeply immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere of the old city, this is definitely the place to choose.

It was my first time to Chongwu. The hotel was relatively old, but the service attitude was very good. Especially the handsome Xiao Wang at the front desk and the cleaning lady in the guest room. They were well-trained and very efficient. They could respond to guests' needs in time and deal with them accordingly. They were very professional!
The hotel environment was comfortable, it was just a step away from the beach, and the beach activities were very convenient. The breakfast variety was complete, there were many restaurants around, and takeout was also convenient and fast. Overall, this hotel is the best choice if you come to Chongwu!

Let’s talk about transportation first:
Take a taxi to the Quanzhou hotel and walk to the mansion in five or six minutes.
Let’s talk about the surroundings:
There are many small restaurants in the surrounding area. It is more than ten minutes away from West Street and the Confucian Temple, and about twenty minutes away from Kaiyuan Temple. You can walk in the alleys to see the history and appreciate the cultural heritage.
Detailed description of the mansion:
The service staff knows the check-in time before the guests check in, and turns on the electric heater in the room in advance to increase the indoor temperature. Good service 👍
The room is larger than expected. Although the window is a bit small, the seating area and work area are sufficient. Economical price👍
The furnishings in the public areas of the mansion basically retain the ancient home style, fully demonstrating the interactive integration of multiple cultures. Unique style👍
Let’s talk about the shortcomings:
There were a lot of mosquitoes in the room on the first floor. It was still raining in Quanzhou in early March, and people almost froze to death, but the mosquitoes were not dead🙄️
The temperature of the hot water was not quite high, and it was not very hot even after being left there for a long time. Because it was quite late, I did not contact the service staff. Maybe other rooms do not have this problem.
Cats can be more friendly😄

Even though I only stayed for one day, it left a great impression on me. First, the location is excellent, very close to the West Gate of Kaiyuan Temple, just 200 meters away, and the surrounding transportation is very convenient. Second, it has a 'winding path to a secluded spot' feel; from the room, you can see the West Pagoda up close and the East Pagoda in the distance, offering tranquility despite being in a bustling area. Finally, the owner's service was exceptional, not only providing detailed travel tips but also ensuring the room was clean and comfortable. All in all, it's a homestay worth revisiting.

I went to Quanzhou with my friends and booked a three-bedroom homestay. The location is good, the room is big and very quiet. The bathroom is not very good, a little small, and it is inconvenient for two people to use it at the same time, one to take a shower and the other to blow dry their hair. After all, it is a bit inconvenient to have the toilet sink and the shower together for three rooms. Overall it is not bad, I recommend it.
