4-Star Hotels in Quanzhou

The service here is absolutely amazing! The staff are so warm, thoughtful, and incredibly patient with their explanations. When we checked in, they even gave us a hand-drawn map and went through all the routes, potential pitfalls, and must-see spots. Their recommendations for food and activities were absolute gems – we followed their advice for mochi, mung bean cakes, and the Arts and Crafts Cooperative, and everything was spot-on, way better than anything we could have found doing our own research! They were always ready to help and proactively offered assistance, treating us like friends the whole time. It felt even warmer and more personalized than a five-star hotel. Traveling with my mom was completely stress-free; this guesthouse provided an incredible sense of security and convenience. If you're coming to Quanzhou, this is definitely the place to stay. I'll absolutely be back for a second visit, and I highly recommend it to all my friends!

This was my second time visiting Quanzhou, and choosing Lushu (录莳) was a decision all three of us absolutely loved. Even though it's technically a guesthouse, it definitely has more of a hotel vibe. The facilities and cleanliness are far superior to many other smaller guesthouses, offering a much more standardized experience. The hotel's design is quite artistic, and there's a rooftop where you can see the Kaiyuan Temple Pagoda. The best part, however, is its excellent location. It's just a one-minute walk to the entrance of West Street. While not directly *on* West Street, this is actually a huge plus because you can park right outside, and they even have their own parking garage. Last time I stayed *in* West Street, it looked convenient but you can't drive in. Staying here meant we avoided dragging our luggage through the heat, which was fantastic! Plus, it’s tucked away, so it’s surprisingly quiet despite being so central. The staff, both the young men and women, were wonderful. Sometimes we'd order takeout very early, and they'd go out of their way to open the gate for the delivery rider and bring it to our room. They were incredibly accommodating throughout our stay. Upon check-in, they provided a hand-drawn map, which was a lovely, thoughtful touch! I have to say, there are so many great places to eat and drink nearby, all within walking distance! This time, I fell in love with the unique specialty drinks at various coffee shops in Quanzhou. Perhaps because they are independent small businesses, each has its own distinct flavor, unlike the chain brands that dominate in a city like Shanghai, which often lack character. 'Haituo' (海獭), 'Mianyang' (绵羊), and 'VEE VEE' nearby are all excellent. This trip, I also tried 'Xiao Niang Re' (小娘惹) photography. I'd done 'Zanhua' (簪花) before, but 'Xiao Niang Re' was even prettier, haha! After the shoot, you can find a place for makeup removal and a scalp treatment. The 'Chafu' (茶麸) shop in Jiadi Lane (甲第巷) is really good! It saves you the trouble of doing it yourself, which can be exhausting. At Kaiyuan Temple, I spent 30 yuan to unlock a 'Black Wukong' (黑悟空) look – it felt quite surreal and was a fun new experience, haha. When you come to Quanzhou, you absolutely have to visit the seaside. Moon Bay Floating Stone Camp (月亮湾浮石营地) instantly transports you to Jeju Island. You can go to Luojia Temple (洛迦寺) first, which is about an hour from the hotel, then head to Moon Bay, also about an hour away. While you're at it, you can also fit in Chongwu Ancient City (崇武古城) and Huian Folk Culture Park (惠安风情园)! If you're tired when you get back, a massage is highly recommended. You can enjoy a foot soak while getting a shoulder and neck massage, along with some healthy tea. Each person gets their own private space, almost like a study room. Every visit to Quanzhou brings new surprises! I'll definitely be staying at Lushu again next time! 👍

This hotel offers excellent service; the staff are all very warm and welcoming. The drinks, ice cream, and game console at the front desk were a must-have for the kids whenever we left or returned. The roasted sweet potatoes were also delicious – please prepare more! The room was very clean, with great attention to detail. The price increase during the Chinese New Year wasn't too outrageous, which was acceptable. Although the breakfast selection was limited, the ingredients were good, and I especially appreciated the separate sections for raw and cooked food. Quanzhou isn't large; a taxi ride to attractions near West Street usually takes less than 20 minutes. The accommodation was very quiet, which was a big plus.

The location is excellent, right on Zhongshan Middle Road, very close to West Street, Guandi Temple, Kaiyuan Temple, Confucian Temple, and many other attractions – all within a 15-minute walk. There are plenty of popular spots nearby, including great food and unique coffee shops. The hotel itself is very clean, and the service is excellent and very welcoming. The only minor downsides are that, perhaps due to its downtown location, the breakfast area is a bit small and the selection isn't huge. Also, it doesn't have a full range of public facilities like a gym or pool. However, these didn't detract from the overall stay experience, as the in-room facilities are quite new. I would definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit Quanzhou.

Our overall stay was fantastic! The location was easy to find, the room was clean and tidy, and the bedding was soft and comfortable. Xiao Zheng at the front desk was incredibly warm and helpful, making the check-in process quick and smooth. The hotel facilities were complete, and the soundproofing was excellent. My boyfriend and I traveled independently to Quanzhou, and choosing this hotel was such a breeze! It's right by Baiyuan Pond in the heart of the ancient city, just a stone's throw from the Confucian Temple. Qingjing Mosque, Guandi Temple, and Tumen Street are all within walking distance. We could even stroll to West Street and Kaiyuan Temple in about fifteen minutes. Plus, the ancient city's 'Little White Car' shuttle stop is right outside, so transportation was never an issue. The hotel, with its vintage four-star charm, is adorned with Southern Fujian red brick and overseas Chinese details, which really appealed to us culture enthusiasts. The lobby features Nanyin opera lanterns, while the corridors display puppets and overseas Chinese correspondence. Even the guest rooms are themed after places like the Confucian Temple and Guandi Temple. From our room, we could actually see the eaves of the Confucian Temple. After a long day of exploring, we'd collapse onto the bed, and with this location and atmosphere, the ancient city vibes were just incredible. This was my second visit to Quanzhou, and I'll definitely be back! (Next time, I'll bring my own clothes though – renting them felt like I kept seeing the same outfits, haha!)

The guest rooms are tidy and cozy, with excellent soundproofing, bedding, and bathroom facilities – the hygiene standards are top-notch. The complimentary breakfast offers a wide variety of delicious options, and the public areas are clean and well-maintained. Getting around is also very convenient. The staff are professional and polite, handling any requests efficiently. The value for money is exceptional; my stay here far exceeded other hotels in the same price range. I've already recommended it to friends, and it will be my first choice for future trips!

Quanzhou West Lake Hotel boasts an excellent location right next to West Lake Park, offering great transport links. The 'Little White Car' stop right outside provides direct access to the ancient city's core. The hotel facilities are new and comprehensive, with spacious and bright rooms. Some room types even feature oversized floor-to-ceiling windows, offering expansive views of West Lake – truly a sight to behold. The front desk staff are warm and attentive, making check-in a breeze, and the intelligent robot delivery service is a convenient touch. The hotel's quiet environment makes it ideal for families or business travelers, and its high value for money makes it a fantastic choice for visiting Quanzhou.

First off, the location is absolutely fantastic. A three-minute walk to the right and you're at Sunlight Night Market, which has tons of delicious street food. As for the hotel, it's a Jinjiang property, which I've always liked. The room itself is very spacious, clean, and comfortable. What really stood out was how incredibly comfortable the bed and pillows were – my colleague said the same thing! It's great value for money too. The hotel staff were also wonderful. I'll definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit.

We are a family who travel to Nan An, Ying Do to visit relatives. We stayed in Fan Hua Hotel for 1 night. We like the big room, the wide spread of breakfast and the counter staff esp Xiao Mei who is very helpful. We will stay in this hotel again if we come this way
