My stay at the Donghai Yuehua Hotel was exceptional from start to finish, characterized by incredibly attentive service, spotlessly clean and elegant rooms, and a rich, delicious breakfast. Every detail exuded high quality, providing a luxurious experience far beyond my expectations, truly unforgettable. From the moment I stepped into the hotel lobby, Visan's thoughtful service was constant. The doorman promptly came forward to help with my luggage, handling it gently yet efficiently, without any delay. During check-in, the staff were smiling throughout, speaking with a gentle and patient tone. They not only completed all procedures quickly and efficiently but also thoughtfully provided information on the hotel's facilities, breakfast times, and local travel tips. They even went as far as to remind me about weather changes and recommend sightseeing routes, with no hint of perfunctoriness. Throughout my stay, no matter what I needed, Visan was always there to respond immediately and provide prompt, thoughtful assistance. Whether it was requesting extra amenities, adjusting the room temperature, or inquiring about dining services, everything was resolved quickly and thoroughly. Their professionalism and enthusiasm were evident in every gesture, making every guest feel genuinely cared for and allowing them to completely shed the stiffness and fatigue of travel. Upon entering the guest room, I was instantly soothed by the clean and tidy environment. The room was meticulously cleaned, with every corner spotless. The floor was shiny and free of debris, and the furniture was polished to a brilliant shine, with no dust visible. The bedding was smooth and soft, clean and dry, without any stains or wrinkles, making it incredibly comfortable to lie on. The bathroom area was impeccably clean; the vanity, mirror, and toilet were deeply sanitized, and high-quality toiletries were neatly and exquisitely arranged. The room was well-ventilated, with fresh air and no unpleasant odors. The overall layout was warm and elegant, with ample natural light, and every detail was perfectly organized. In this clean and comfortable space, I could enjoy peaceful relaxation and feel completely secure and at ease. The self-service breakfast in the morning elevated the five-star experience to its peak. The dining area offered an overwhelming variety of options, with both Chinese and Western dishes available to satisfy diverse palates. There were steaming hot Chinese pastries, fragrant and delicious congee, freshly cooked tender eggs, authentic local snacks, paired with refreshing and appetizing pickled vegetables, all full of local flavor. The Western dishes were equally impressive, including crispy and sweet breads and pastries, fresh and varied salads, rich cheeses and cold cuts, as well as various nutritious cereals, nuts, and dried fruits. Additionally, there were fresh and plump seasonal fruits, freshly squeezed juices, aromatic coffee, and soothing teas. The ingredients were fresh and high-quality, the taste was authentic and delicious, and the dining environment was clean and comfortable. The service staff promptly refilled food and cleared plates, making every breakfast a delightful and satisfying experience, perfect for starting a vibrant day. From the meticulous service to the clean and comfortable rooms, and the rich and delicious breakfast, this hotel truly embodies a five-star stay through its extreme attention to detail and care. Every moment felt warm and dignified, making it undoubtedly an excellent choice for any trip.

The service is definitely commendable. The staff member, Nan, was very friendly and efficient with the check-in process, and the room was spotlessly clean. The only downside is that the hotel's main sign is a bit small, and the parking directions are unclear. I had to drive around once to find it, which was quite disappointing for a first-time guest. I hope the hotel can add clearer and more prominent directional signs in both the underground parking lot and on the ground level. This improvement would greatly benefit guests arriving by car and enhance the overall experience by making the hotel's presence more apparent throughout the entire area.

My friend and I visited Quanzhou during the May Day holiday. Since prices were steep everywhere – even a Quanji hotel was over 800 RMB – we opted for the seasoned five-star hotel, Yuewah (Xiamen C&D Hotel). I knew it was an older hotel, but the online photos looked decent. However, upon opening the door on check-in day, I was quite disappointed. We were given a room with a half-window (Picture 1), which looked very different from the deluxe twin room advertised online. I immediately called the front desk to confirm if this was indeed a deluxe twin room, and they confirmed it was. Personally, I really dislike half-windows, and the room's layout was also very different. Thankfully, the duty manager, Ms. David, promptly came to our room, offered to change our room type, and even took us to view the new room to ensure it met our expectations. She was very proactive in helping us, and in the end, we successfully checked into a satisfactory room. The new room was significantly more spacious. Although the facilities are older, they still meet five-star standards. Moreover, the breakfast at Yuewah is incredibly diverse. They offer Quanzhou specialties like Mianxian糊 (vermicelli paste) and Satay Noodles, both of which tasted excellent. There's a wide selection of fruits, pastries, and various other food types. The breakfast seating arrangement was also quite orderly. Overall, I was very satisfied with our stay!

Absolutely fantastic! The environment is beautiful and peaceful, and it's super convenient for transport. The breakfast selection is huge and everything is spotless. Plus, the restaurant has a great play area for kids, which is a big bonus. The service was excellent; they proactively helped us with our luggage. The room itself was very spacious, and they even provided a heater, which kept our baby's bath time nice and warm. The room design is also very clever – the bedroom is a good distance from the door, so it stays quiet in the mornings. Highly, highly, highly recommend!

Amazing hotel, over looking the shijing river. looking towards the Temple on the hill side. The location is ideal for me to visit business in Shijing. The food service, assistance of the staff on reception & the cleanliness of the rooms was excellent. I am also very satisfied with the friendliness of the staff. Overall, it is a great hotel for the price. The room is very spacious and clean inside. The hotel is nice, lobby and reception is nice. Room is a little bit old fashioned and not so modern but it’s quite spacious. The service of the staff was good. Special thanks to Mr Hanson Liu for his hospitality and for his help. We’re first time staying at this area and he was so kind and guided us when we asked him where’s the nearest mall or supermarket because the hotel location is quite isolated. He even wrote the address in a piece of paper so that the driver would be easy to find the place. Housekeeping staff was nice and helpful too. They have self service laundry room too and if we encounter problem, their staffs are ready to help. Overall it’s a nice stay here.

It was my first time to Chongwu. The hotel was relatively old, but the service attitude was very good. Especially the handsome Xiao Wang at the front desk and the cleaning lady in the guest room. They were well-trained and very efficient. They could respond to guests' needs in time and deal with them accordingly. They were very professional! The hotel environment was comfortable, it was just a step away from the beach, and the beach activities were very convenient. The breakfast variety was complete, there were many restaurants around, and takeout was also convenient and fast. Overall, this hotel is the best choice if you come to Chongwu!

Family room is spacious, clean and comfortable. The bathroom has all marble features. Bed is very comfortable. Good breakfast. Very attentive service.
