GGuest UserThe service here is absolutely amazing! The staff are so warm, thoughtful, and incredibly patient with their explanations. When we checked in, they even gave us a hand-drawn map and went through all the routes, potential pitfalls, and must-see spots. Their recommendations for food and activities were absolute gems – we followed their advice for mochi, mung bean cakes, and the Arts and Crafts Cooperative, and everything was spot-on, way better than anything we could have found doing our own research! They were always ready to help and proactively offered assistance, treating us like friends the whole time. It felt even warmer and more personalized than a five-star hotel. Traveling with my mom was completely stress-free; this guesthouse provided an incredible sense of security and convenience. If you're coming to Quanzhou, this is definitely the place to stay. I'll absolutely be back for a second visit, and I highly recommend it to all my friends!

AAnonymous UserThe room was very nice, clean and tidy, no smell, the front desk lady was also very good, especially easy-going and kind, my friend and I wanted to get some disposable items in the middle of the night and sent it quickly, and we were in a hurry to go out. The messy rooms were all clean and tidy. Our own things were not passive. The service is very good, there is a Fengshan Park next to it, the overall is very OK/: ok

ZZouzailushangdepipiThis hotel offers excellent service; the staff are all very warm and welcoming. The drinks, ice cream, and game console at the front desk were a must-have for the kids whenever we left or returned. The roasted sweet potatoes were also delicious – please prepare more! The room was very clean, with great attention to detail. The price increase during the Chinese New Year wasn't too outrageous, which was acceptable. Although the breakfast selection was limited, the ingredients were good, and I especially appreciated the separate sections for raw and cooked food. Quanzhou isn't large; a taxi ride to attractions near West Street usually takes less than 20 minutes. The accommodation was very quiet, which was a big plus.

GGuest UserThis B&B is tucked away in an alley off West Street, and the environment is really lovely. It's clean and tidy, and the facilities are all very complete, including a laundry room and a hairdryer. They even offer breakfast and afternoon tea service. Our housekeeper, Chu Yi, was incredibly attentive. Overall, it was a fantastic stay! The area outside the hotel is also great for exploring, with lots of creative shops and snack stalls to check out.

AAnonymous UserThe location is excellent, right on Zhongshan Middle Road, very close to West Street, Guandi Temple, Kaiyuan Temple, Confucian Temple, and many other attractions – all within a 15-minute walk. There are plenty of popular spots nearby, including great food and unique coffee shops. The hotel itself is very clean, and the service is excellent and very welcoming. The only minor downsides are that, perhaps due to its downtown location, the breakfast area is a bit small and the selection isn't huge. Also, it doesn't have a full range of public facilities like a gym or pool. However, these didn't detract from the overall stay experience, as the in-room facilities are quite new. I would definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit Quanzhou.

YyoungerfyFor my Quanzhou trip, I chose the InterContinental Taihe, initially drawn by its convenient location, close to all the main attractions. I booked an Executive Suite, which included Executive Lounge access. The room offered simultaneous views of the Ferris wheel and Jinjiang Bridge – you could watch the tide come and go during the day, and the nighttime views were even more stunning. Right next door was the Maritime Silk Road Xunfeng Night Market, bustling with local life. From check-in onwards, the staff's service was exceptional, especially Ms. Xiao Mao. Her service was consistently attentive and responsive to every request. The room key card was also very unique and made for a nice souvenir. The breakfast is highly recommended; it featured almost every type of Quanzhou snack, allowing you to savor global delicacies without leaving the hotel. Western dishes, fruits, and regular breakfast items were also plentiful. It truly lives up to its reputation as a 'World City of Gastronomy,' and I can understand why international visitors also choose to stay here.

FflubberGrand Honor Hotel is definitely the best hotel in Shishi, but it’s not quite the same level as a luxury hotel in a bigger city. Generally the hotel is clean, but it’s the little things that I noticed, ie when I checked in, there were some sweet wrappers next to the bowl of sweets that weren’t cleared away. That said, the sense of space is evident in the hotel lobby, lifts, corridors and most importantly, the hotel rooms. Rooms are very spacious and well-designed, although the closet area can definitely do with brighter lights. Most amenities are provided but what put me off is that many items that would have been free in other hotels at this price-range aren’t free at Grand Honor. There is a Chinese tea set on the table and usually the loose leaf tea is provided for free but it cost ¥15 per packet. Honestly it’s not a lot of money for us, but on the flip side, surely the hotel can provide a bag of tea leaves for their guests. There are the standard free single-use packet tea in the drawer so at least there’s that. In-room slippers are not to be taken out; they’d charge you if you do - and that’s fine, but the slippers are actually really uncomfortable to wear. The small plate of fruits (banana, plum and mandarin) given at 5pm every day is a nice touch. The hotel breakfast is probably the highlight. Set on the 22nd floor with panoramic views of the city, breakfast is very enjoyable. The food quality is pretty good, but a real surprise here is the sheer diversity of food. The bread selection alone has 5-6 choices (pastries, brioche, baguette, square toast, etc), the cooked food section is almost endless (and there’s cooked Chinese vegetables! 👏🏾) and then there’s the fruit selection at the end too. My only gripe is that the coffee machine is a bit slow, and there’s only one machine so there can be a wait for coffee. Location of the hotel is a little odd; good restaurants and the main mall is about 15 mins’ walk away. There aren’t many good shops to wander around nearby. Generally, this is a solid hotel for this price point. Excellent service with very fast food delivery (using the ubiquitous delivery robots) and friendly front desk staff.

Llaipeng123Half the joy of this short trip came from this hotel! Its location is perfect – tucked away from the hustle and bustle, yet convenient for sightseeing, allowing you to enjoy peaceful downtime. The hotel environment is super comfortable, with greenery tastefully sprinkled throughout the public areas, creating a wonderful ambiance. The room was cozy and spotless, with soft lighting design; it was so relaxing to curl up on the sofa and binge-watch shows at night. The front desk lady was incredibly thoughtful. For breakfast, there were freshly made noodles and authentic Chinese pastries that tasted amazing, and even the coffee was freshly ground. The hotel also offers small drinks, and enjoying the breeze and scenery in the evening was incredibly therapeutic. The service was consistently excellent, with every staff member wearing a smile, making you feel incredibly welcome. This hotel has definitely made it onto my 'must-revisit' list!

AAdahe1981The location of the hotel is quite good. It was a good choice. I came to listen to Eason Chan's Quanzhou concert. I thought it was a bit far from the stadium and hesitated for a while, but it was already a relatively close hotel to the stadium in Jinjiang. After the concert, I went out and took the concert bus Line 1, which arrived in one stop. I was back to the hotel at 10:40. Next time I have the chance, I will choose this hotel again.
