Quanzhou Hotels with Breakfast

This hotel offers excellent service; the staff are all very warm and welcoming. The drinks, ice cream, and game console at the front desk were a must-have for the kids whenever we left or returned. The roasted sweet potatoes were also delicious – please prepare more! The room was very clean, with great attention to detail. The price increase during the Chinese New Year wasn't too outrageous, which was acceptable. Although the breakfast selection was limited, the ingredients were good, and I especially appreciated the separate sections for raw and cooked food. Quanzhou isn't large; a taxi ride to attractions near West Street usually takes less than 20 minutes. The accommodation was very quiet, which was a big plus.

We had a pretty decent 3-day, 2-night stay at Lemes Hotel. To be very honest, the interior design is a little old-fashioned and simple, and the location isn’t the most convenient as it’s slightly away from the downtown area. However, the hotel is very comfortable, clean, and affordable, which more than makes up for those minor drawbacks. The staff greeted us with a very warm welcome and were incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. The main purpose of our trip was to search for our family roots, and since it was our first time visiting YongChun, we had no idea where to begin. The staff were incredibly patient and accommodating. They even kindly allowed us to use the reception phone to contact and communicate with a few key people who might be our distant relatives. We truly appreciated their willingness to help us during such a meaningful trip. The breakfast was great as well! The selection was relatively simple, but everything was clean, fresh, and professionally presented. As mentioned, my only not-so-positive comment would be the slightly old-fashioned interior design. Other than that, we had a very pleasant and comfortable stay. Considering the comfort, cleanliness, affordability, and especially the warm and helpful service from the staff, I would still happily give Lemes Hotel a 5-star rating! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The hotel's location isn't ideal; you'll need to take a taxi to get anywhere. However, it's right across from the Jinjiang River and next to Xunpu Village. Since taxis are convenient and affordable, this isn't a major issue. During holidays, it's very crowded, and we had to wait until past 1 PM for our room. Those traveling with seniors and children should be prepared. You can store your luggage and go out to explore first. I stayed here two years ago, and the service and facilities were excellent. The executive lounge offered freshly made cocktails, and the beef noodles were delicious. The breakfast even had grouper porridge. To my surprise, this time, the breakfast was quite disappointing. The grouper porridge was replaced with Mianxian paste, and they said they adjust the menu regularly. Why not adjust the steamed dim sum? The meatballs at the noodle station were subpar. The vegetable dishes were mediocre, and the fried noodles were unappetizing; you couldn't even pick them up with tongs. Only the pastries and bread maintained their quality. The main reason I used to stay at InterContinental Hotels QUANZHOU by IHG—the grouper porridge—is now gone. I might consider other hotels with better locations and prices in the future.

The overall condition of the room was quite good, but the overhead shower in the bathroom had a rather weak water flow and needs regular maintenance. The buffet dinner and breakfast on the first floor were excellent. During both meals, Mr. Bao, a restaurant staff member, provided warm and attentive service. A big thank you to him! I will definitely choose to stay at Crowne Plaza QUANZHOU RIVERVIEW by IHG again next time I visit Quanzhou.

Pretty decent pricing. The staff were really nice and helpful but they seemed pretty under staffed with only one person at any one time. Guess that's the thing about small hotels. Location seems good at first sight as it's very near Zhongshan Road and West Road, but it is located in a small alley so need to walk out 3min without shelter to call a taxi or Didi, and I found that not very convenient. Not much amenities to talk about, and the soundproofing was horrid. Also I didn't like that anyone can just take the lift up without tapping the card. Overall still decent value and good service.

The location is excellent, right on Zhongshan Middle Road, very close to West Street, Guandi Temple, Kaiyuan Temple, Confucian Temple, and many other attractions – all within a 15-minute walk. There are plenty of popular spots nearby, including great food and unique coffee shops. The hotel itself is very clean, and the service is excellent and very welcoming. The only minor downsides are that, perhaps due to its downtown location, the breakfast area is a bit small and the selection isn't huge. Also, it doesn't have a full range of public facilities like a gym or pool. However, these didn't detract from the overall stay experience, as the in-room facilities are quite new. I would definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit Quanzhou.

The room decor is new, simple, and elegant, with a dry/wet separation design, and no strange odors. The TV has a rewind function, which is great. The lady at the front desk was very nice and almost always accommodated our requests; she was very thoughtful. The cleaning staff were also very attentive. There's also a laundry room available, which is really convenient. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience.

This hotel is simply perfect! The room was huge, and the cleaning staff tidied up every day. Every evening, they'd bring sweet soups like tremella or red bean, along with fruit, right to our room. The restaurant on the 22nd floor was also great; we could leisurely enjoy breakfast there before heading out. There's a gym and a pool on the 6th floor. Speaking of which, I almost gave a bad review. When I chose this hotel, it was specifically because of their swimming pool. However, when I got there, I found out that during the Chinese New Year period, the pool hours were only from 10:30 AM to 6:00 PM. This is exactly when we were out and about! How could anyone use the pool then? I was so annoyed. But, considering their excellent service, I let it go and still gave a full five stars. I also want to give a special shout-out to ”Huihui” at the front desk. We accidentally left something in the hotel fridge and only realized it after we'd checked out. Huihui very enthusiastically helped us find it and even mailed it to us. We're so grateful! All in all, this is a hotel with complete facilities, thoughtful service, and a warm, lovely atmosphere. It's the kind of cozy place that made us look forward to coming back to rest every day after a tiring day of sightseeing.

The hotel service was excellent, and the room was spotlessly clean. It's conveniently located for transportation, with easy access to taxis and plenty of bus routes. It's also a starting point for shared bikes, making it easy to reach various attractions in the ancient city. The room itself was very spacious and well-equipped, featuring both a bathtub and a shower with a separate wet and dry area. Relaxing on the balcony with a view of West Lake was truly delightful. The hotel is perfect for a stroll around West Lake and is within walking distance of the Minnan-Taiwan Kinship Museum, making it an ideal choice for family travel.

This hotel truly exceeded my expectations! The location is excellent, close to shopping districts and public transport, making it super convenient for getting around. The room hygiene was top-notch; the sheets and duvet covers were changed for every new guest, and the floors and bathroom corners were spotless, without any water marks or dust. All the in-room amenities were fully functional, including the air conditioning, hot water, and toiletries – nothing was broken or faulty. Both the front desk and housekeeping staff were incredibly attentive, responding quickly to requests with polite and patient service. I felt secure and comfortable during my stay, and it's definitely worth coming back to!
