GGuest UserThis was my second trip to Quanzhou with my best friend. I'm incredibly picky about hotels, and after a long search, I finally settled on Nanyue 18. It exceeded my expectations throughout our entire stay. From the moment we checked in, the staff helped with our luggage and gave us a detailed, friendly introduction to all the sights and must-try food spots. We completely ditched our own itinerary and just followed their recommendations. The room was comfortable and spotless, with many thoughtful touches. When we left, they even gave us each a local snack, which was delicious! My friend, unfortunately, forgot hers at the high-speed rail station. We were going to offer to pay one of the staff members to buy some for us, but instead, they sent us two huge bags, free of charge! I was so touched 😹😹😹😹😹😹😹😹😹😹😹😹😹😹😹😹😹😹😹😹😹. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Quanzhou with my family and kids.

Ppeace2dearThis guesthouse truly exceeded my expectations! Two days before arrival, a concierge messaged me on WeChat with all the check-in details and even upgraded my room, which was incredibly nice! We arrived before check-in time, but the staff at the front desk were super friendly and gave us a local guide. As soon as our room was ready, they let us check in early. The room was huge, with a separate wet/dry area and a bathtub 🛁. There were complimentary welcome fruits, and all the drinks were free. In the drawer, they thoughtfully provided earplugs, hand warmers, eye masks, and a sewing kit. The guesthouse's location is also incredibly convenient, with lots of popular spots nearby. There's a 'Wuyan Cafe' right outside a small side gate, and just a few steps to the right of the main entrance are Kaiyuan Temple, Renshou Pagoda, and West Street. From location to room facilities and service, everything was impeccable. I'll definitely be back!

The drinks, ice cream, and game console at the front desk were a must-have for the kids whenever we left or returned. The roasted sweet potatoes were also delicious – please prepare more! The room was very clean, with great attention to detail. The price increase during the Chinese New Year wasn't too outrageous, which was acceptable. Although the breakfast selection was limited, the ingredients were good, and I especially appreciated the separate sections for raw and cooked food. Quanzhou isn't large; a taxi ride to attractions near West Street usually takes less than 20 minutes. The accommodation was very quiet, which was a big plus.

GGuest UserMy good mood just kept coming; truly, I made the right choice of hotel in Shishi. The front desk lady was beautiful, and her service was meticulous and professional, speaking softly and gently. When I got out of the car, I had a lot of luggage, and Manager Xiao Wang thoughtfully arranged two luggage carts. What was even more surprising was that my room had been treated for no-smoking, and the room itself was clean and tidy, with a faint, pleasant fragrance.

Llaipeng123Half the joy of this short trip came from this hotel! Its location is perfect – tucked away from the hustle and bustle, yet convenient for sightseeing, allowing you to enjoy peaceful downtime. The hotel environment is super comfortable, with greenery tastefully sprinkled throughout the public areas, creating a wonderful ambiance. The room was cozy and spotless, with soft lighting design; it was so relaxing to curl up on the sofa and binge-watch shows at night. The front desk lady was incredibly thoughtful. For breakfast, there were freshly made noodles and authentic Chinese pastries that tasted amazing, and even the coffee was freshly ground. The hotel also offers small drinks, and enjoying the breeze and scenery in the evening was incredibly therapeutic. The service was consistently excellent, with every staff member wearing a smile, making you feel incredibly welcome. This hotel has definitely made it onto my 'must-revisit' list!

AAnonymous UserTime flies when you're having fun, and my trip to this thousand-year-old Quanzhou city has come to an end. What I'll remember most is choosing 2208 Inn, which boasts a fantastic location on the busiest street in Quanzhou's city center. The West Gate of the famous Kaiyuan Temple is just across the road from the inn.
From my room at the inn, I could open the window and gaze at the beautiful night silhouette of Quanxi Hall on West Street. I could also hear the bustling crowds of West Street from outside my window. Day or night, the ancient city's streets are lined with a dazzling array of local snacks and delicacies – think Mianxian paste, Ginger Duck, Fujianese crispy pork, with famous eateries right next door. If you want a taste, just head downstairs; they're just a few steps away. Xunpu flower-wearing shops are also everywhere. If you want to try wearing the flowers, just go downstairs, and you can instantly transform into a beautiful flower-wearing girl.
What brought me the most joy was the genuine conversations I had with the inn staff every time I returned. The front desk's handsome and dedicated customer service representative, the proprietress's beautiful smile, and the cleaning auntie's meticulousness and hard work all exemplify the inn's warm and thoughtful hospitality.
Thank you all for giving me such wonderful memories of the ancient city. It makes me recall: in this thousand-year-old city, in this little alley corner, I unexpectedly encountered your vibrant, almost divine, warmth and vitality. It makes me miss the moment the pigeons flew past the Twin Pagodas of Kaiyuan Temple in the morning, the fragrant misty aroma of Tieguanyin tea in an old teahouse in the afternoon, and the golden glow of the sunset over Jinjiang River.
Encounters are always brief! I've already made a promise with you – if I ever come to Quanzhou again, I will undoubtedly choose 2208 Inn without hesitation. As the year draws to a close and a new one begins, I wish the inn even greater prosperity and a booming year ahead!

AAnonymous UserI am so impressed by Quanzhou in general. This place made sure our family was comfortable and well located. The location is very close to everything. The guesthouse is quite spacious and when we arrived our room was very clean and so were the toilets. There is something homely about this space while ensuring all facilities are met with. We enjoyed their tips on food and sightseeing. Also, their social space was great to hangout. The boss's daughter ”iron hammer” is very hard working. We will definitely come back again.

AAnonymous UserRoom was really big, and although it was further than I expected, its still of a walkable distance from the airport. Room was big and had plenty of space! Cleanliness wise was actually pretty alright, EXCEPT the toilet. I think it was mentioned by another reviewer that there is a very strong smell i think coming from the drain. It really hits you in the face whenever you open the toilet door, so im quite affected and reluctant to use the toilet lol. But luckily the toilet and bath are separated, so I think if you close the toilet door its still fine. I just hold my breath when opening the toilet door. Also its still bearable for me since im only there for 1 night (im in quanzhou for a 24 hour layover), but otherwise the smell is really not for long stays, so I would say considering the price I paid (and the proximity to the airport) its still an acceptable stay BUT if you're staying there for longer I would recommend looking for other hotels! (Which is a shame really because I like staying in large rooms normally and i think i dont have high standards for my stays as long as its clean, and this room is pretty spacious)

11900.This hotel offers incredible value for money, highly recommended! The location is fantastic, with convenient transportation, and it's right by shopping areas and attractions. The rooms are spacious and bright, with plenty of natural light. The bedding is comfortable, and the soundproofing is excellent, completely blocking out any outside noise.

EEmily YingThis homestay is superb for me and my family member from Malaysia. The location is great and the pin location is accurate is u grab car from Didi.
This homestay can grab Didi anytime.The shop Opposite hotel is 老字号马蹄酥&黄衍明口腔科 as later i will put picture for ur reference. Then u follow the signboard go in the alley then can find the homestay. The owner of this homestay is super helpful and friendly. As my luggage damage in airport, owner help me to get a new luggage online and get it just within a day. The homestay even provide us disposable towel ,face towel , tooth brush and tooth paste everyday. And no need worry about shampoo and body shampoo too. Hassle free and can bring less item if u stay in this homestay. The hotel location is great to grab breakfast and supper too. Some within walking distance restaurant I will put in photo. And 小白车u can take from this homestay to many travel attraction just rmb 2. All in all, this homestay is good value for money and i would like say thank you to the owner of this homestay for the pleasant stay during my trip. Definitely we will come back again Quanzhou just want stay in Lanxin courtyard only.
这家民宿对我和我来自马来西亚的家人来说太棒了。位置很好，如果你用滴滴打车，定位很准确。这里打车很方便。酒店对面的商店是老字号马蹄酥&黄衍明口腔科，稍后我会贴上图片供你参考。然后你跟着招牌走进小巷就能找到民宿。这家民宿 的主人非常乐于助人和友好。由于我的行李在机场损坏了，主人帮助我在网上买了一个新行李，一天之内就拿到了。民宿甚至每天为我们提供一次性毛巾、面巾、牙刷和牙膏。也不用担心洗发水和沐浴露。如果你住在这家民宿可以带更少的物品省略不少行李过重的麻烦。酒店位置很棒，三餐都能吃到好吃的食物。一些步行距离内的餐厅我会贴在照片里。而且从这家民宿乘坐小白车前往许多旅游景点只需 2 元人民币。总而言之，这家民宿物超所值，我要感谢民宿主人让我在旅途中住得愉快。我们一定会再来泉州，再次住在蓝馨。或许可以说是蓝馨让我爱上了泉州，这个充满人情味的民宿。
