Five-star recommendation for Quanzhou Lushih Homestay, the most delightful stay of my Quanzhou trip! The location is absolutely perfect, tucked away in a small alley off West Street. It's a two or three-minute walk directly to the East and West Pagodas of Kaiyuan Temple, and stepping out, you're surrounded by authentic local snacks. It's a rare find—peaceful amidst the hustle and bustle; closing the courtyard gate completely shields you from the street noise. Converted from a standalone Southern Fujian courtyard, the design is gentle yet refined. Lush greenery fills the small courtyard with an amazing atmosphere. The rooftop terrace is a hidden gem for photos, offering a 270-degree direct view of the twin pagodas. You can watch the sunset in the evening and capture stunning shots of the ancient city lights at night. The room was impeccably clean, the latex mattress was soft and comfortable for a good night's sleep. Smart toilet, hot water, and toiletries were all well-equipped, and the soundproofing was excellent, ensuring an undisturbed night's rest. The butler service was meticulous and heartwarming. Upon check-in, we received a hand-drawn guide to the ancient city's hidden gems, along with recommendations for local secret eateries, and any requests were met with super-fast responses. The common areas are elegantly decorated, with a tea corner, a small intangible cultural heritage exhibition hall, and you can even experience writing wax-sealed letters to your future self—thoughtful details are everywhere. It's a godsend for self-driving tourists, as it comes with an underground parking lot, directly solving the parking problem in the old city. Breakfast features local old-brand mianxian hu (vermicelli paste) with vinegar-marinated pork, and traditional pastries are complimentary for afternoon tea. The value for money is exceptional, suitable for couples, girlfriends, and families alike. I will definitely stay at Lushih again on my next visit to Quanzhou!

An incredibly satisfying stay! From the day before check-in, Belle enthusiastically and meticulously shared various tips for our stay, along with recommendations for Quanzhou cuisine and city walk routes. On the day of arrival, she kept us informed about the local weather and followed up throughout our stay to ensure everything was perfect. This truly showcased the hotel's high-quality service. The hotel's location is absolutely prime, right in the center. The Bell Tower is right before your eyes, and West Street, Kaiyuan Temple, Zhongshan Road, and all directions are easily accessible – getting anywhere is super convenient. Guests can also book an exclusive golf cart for a tour of the ancient city, travel photography, fun tea-making experiences, and evening cocktails. It really allowed us to experience the charm of Quanzhou and step into the olden days of Southern Fujian.

This hostel was our first choice because of the positive reviews particularly about the hosts' friendly and helpful attitude and services. They answered all our questions about tourist attraction spots which are not always readily accessible online by foreigners. Very thoughtful of them to provide a hand-drawn map. The location is a plus point for those who want to stay within walking distance to Kai Yuan Shi. It sits in Xijie at the intersection between the more commercialised, touristy shops and day/night markets and shops that the locals frequented. Need to climb some stairs, the highest floor of the room is at the 4th. The luggage will be taken care of though. Worth it as this is the signature red- bricked building of the local Minnan culture.

Extremely satisfied with my stay at Yuyue Hotel! Excellent location! Close to West Street and Kaiyuan Temple, you can experience the vibrant atmosphere of Quanzhou's ancient city within walking distance. Convenient transportation! Easy access to taxis and public transport. Clean and tidy room! Comfortable bedding, complete facilities, and attention to detail. Warm and attentive service! Special thanks to the receptionist, who was not only warm and attentive but also helped us purchase tickets for the puppet theater, allowing us to enjoy the intangible cultural heritage puppet show – a perfect experience! Surrounded by delicious food! Various local favorites are within walking distance.

Our overall stay was fantastic! The location was easy to find, the room was clean and tidy, and the bedding was soft and comfortable. Xiao Zheng at the front desk was incredibly warm and helpful, making the check-in process quick and smooth. The hotel facilities were complete, and the soundproofing was excellent. It offered incredible value for money, making it very convenient for exploring. We'll definitely choose this hotel again on our next visit. Highly recommended!

The hotel is really close to West Street; just a short walk out the door and a right turn takes you to the Bell Tower. It's super convenient for sightseeing and eating, and I could easily grab bubble tea or snacks whenever I wanted. The room was well-equipped with all the essentials, and I was pleasantly surprised to find a tea set, which really highlighted the Southern Fujian local culture – great attention to detail! The biggest surprise was the recommended puppet show theater; they even threw wedding candies during the interactive session, which exceeded my expectations. I'd definitely recommend everyone go see it. Overall, my stay was quite good.

The hotel has been around for a while, so it's a bit old but nothing major. The front desk staff, particularly Xiao Zheng, provided great service and arranged a high-floor room for me. The breakfast on the first floor wasn't particularly outstanding; I hope they can improve it in the future. Also, it would be great if they could upgrade to screen-mirroring TVs for more convenience.

was a nice experience to stay for two night in this Hotel. The front desk lady was very helpful and she was able to speak English which is the best thing as we speak zero chinese. Very clean and the lobby smells just so beautiful

Family room is spacious, clean and comfortable. The bathroom has all marble features. Bed is very comfortable. Good breakfast. Very attentive service.

A typical red brick old house in southern Fujian, the location is extremely advantageous, across the road is Kaiyuan Temple, 100 meters walk is West Street, the transportation is well developed, taxis and small white cars are very convenient, eating and playing are very convenient, and in the city center, not far from other attractions. The B&B is very charming, quiet in the bustling, with a scene at every step in the courtyard, a stage, and two 100-year-old carambola trees. The service is very thoughtful and the facilities are complete. You can feel the tea culture of southern Fujian in the courtyard. It is a B&B with culture, and I will recommend it to my friends.
