Hotels Near Confucius Temple East Market in Nanjing

We live on the fourth floor and there is no elevator and we need to climb stairs. Fortunately, the staff will help us carry our suitcases up. The beautiful woman at the front desk is very enthusiastic and the service is great. The room we stayed in is not only small but also smells. I don’t know what it smells like at night. It was also very noisy when I was sleeping. I didn’t know where the sound came from and kept making a beeping sound.

The hotel is in a very advantageous location, in the center of the Qinhuai River Scenic Area. It has its own parking lot, and it is only a few minutes' walk from the Jiangnan Gongyuan and Confucius Temple. It is very lively at night. The breakfast buffet restaurant has breakfast while enjoying the scenery of Qinhuai River. After breakfast, take a taxi for five minutes to the popular duck shop to buy duck. At noon, I visited the Presidential Palace and paid tribute to Mr. Sun. After Nanjing, I have a lot of insights.

The location is very good. It is in the Confucius Temple scenic area. The hotel is hygienic. The room is small. It costs more than 300 yuan a night. It’s a good place to sit. When you are tired from shopping, you can go back and have a rest. If you have requirements for hotel facilities, be careful. In the evening It's quite noisy, so people with poor sleep should be careful. The service at the front desk was very good. I dropped my pants and the front desk helped send them to me. Thank you. I ordered four items from a nearby breakfast shop and the portions were not large enough for two people who didn’t have big appetites. I forgot the charge was a hundred and ten. The Hanfu costumes shot in the Qinhuai Theater were suitable and beautiful to wear, but the photographer’s skills were very amateurish, so it might as well have been taken by myself. The scenic spot is too commercial, and the things sold are very expensive, but it makes people feel that it is not worth it. I want to buy something special to give away, but there is none. The things sold in each store are very different, and I don’t want to go there a second time. It's an impulse, but those who have never been there can still experience it. After all, it is also a special attraction, so it is good to join in the fun. This is my humble opinion after traveling and is for reference only.

Comfortable! Pleasant! Spacious! Convenient! Yes, staying at Zhuangyuanlou Hotel made us feel so good when we first came to Nanjing. The hotel is 5⭐️-rated and affordable. It is located by the Confucius Temple Pedestrian Street and Qinhuai River, and it takes 20 minutes to walk to Laomendong Pedestrian Street. The Confucius Temple subway station is within 300 meters. We took the subway from Xuanwu Lake to Confucius Temple Station, which took about 15 minutes. During the four days of stay, as long as we could go back to the room to rest + recharge, we would not feel tired just looking around every day. Great. Worth recommending.

The location is very good, with Confucius Temple Pedestrian Street and Qinhuai River Scenic Belt just outside. However, the hotel elevator is a bit inconvenient, small and slow. The service desk and restaurant are on the upper floors (I don't understand why the service desk on the first floor is vacant?). Guests in the lower floors have to go to the restaurant and service desk. Every time you swipe your card, it automatically defaults to the floor of your room, and you have to stop once more.

The best hotel I have stayed in my trip to China this December. The rooms are big and spacious and clean. I had the double guest room and it came with a television and a projector TV. We could watch our shows separately in the room as they have cleverly positioned the speakers for the projection behind the bind. There is a big platform near the window, presumably to be in the same mood as the theatre theme. This is perfect for us for our 4 luggage. There are fresh fruits served daily in the room, and amenities are replenished daily. The breakfast has a good variety of selection. There is a laundry room with 2 washers and dryer. The hotel staff are all polite and helpful, even gave my kids free breakfast during our stay. If I have to nickpick at something, it would be that there is around 5 stairs to the lobby of the hotel and not so luggage friendly.

Cleanliness: The room is not very big but very clean Service: There was a problem with the TV the next day after I checked in, but it was solved immediately. The lady at the front desk was very nice and arranged a quieter room, and also gave me snacks after leaving the hotel. Environment: It is very close to Confucius Temple and a five-minute walk away. It is also very convenient to be a few minutes away from the subway station. The only bad thing is that there is a wall outside the window and you can't see anything.

Location wise is good, room is clean, near to mrt and tourism spot. Only want to feedback that the receptionist at 1030pm dated 31 Oct 2024, was not professional. She was trying to avoid eye contact while answering our queries on payable TV program and kept handling the computer only. Not able to resolve our issue. Appreciate the management to look into this for better front desk service experience.

Good location to visit main landmarks in Nanjing. The hotel staff was very friendly. We arrived a bit early and they had no issue giving us the room. Even got an upgrade. The room was clean and quiet. Would recommend for stays if visiting Nanjing.
