It’s the second time we visited the hotel. It’s location is just beautiful at the entrance of the old quarter in Nanjing. At day or night you can see wonderful streets and the hotel garden is beautiful as well. This time the service was a bit slow and incomplete. They also mixed up the rooms a bit and the English level can be improved. The breakfast was okay and of good quality but a bit basic - for the high price it could have been better.

Room is pretty and clean. Large hotel, ideal location in historical-commercial neighborhood. Pretty garden accessible for free via hotel.

Hotel is within walking distance to many attractions in Nanjing (Fuzi Temple, Old East Gate) and these places turn incredibly stunning at night. Facilities, cleanliness and amenities are what you would expect at a 5 star hotel and it is within the confines of a traditional picturesque garden which guests can access 24/7. Slightly disappointed that the Chinese Opera Show is only available on Fridays and Saturdays.

Very unique design and excellent location. The room is comfortable, and service is great! Enjoyed our entire stay!

Nice big room with good amenities

This time I booked this hotel for my parents. My parents are a bit old, and sometimes I am worried that they can't take good care of themselves when they are outside. The hotel staff is very considerate. Considering the age of my parents and the fact that there are no other people around, they will pay more attention to them and carefully explain their questions. When checking out, my parents don't know how to use their mobile phones to call a taxi. The hotel front desk helped them call a taxi and sent them to the place where they got on the car. They waited for the driver to successfully pick them up before leaving. Thank you very much to every service staff of the hotel for taking care of my parents.

The design of the whole hotel is really in line with our impression of the classical image of the garden. There is a very unique room card access control. There will be a butler agent to the room, and then some introductions to the hotel. You can also go directly inside to see his garden. It is very good when there is no one. The hotel is a whole series of hotels distributed near various conscious buildings in Nanjing. Remember to turn off the air conditioner when you go to bed at night, otherwise it will be very noisy. I especially like some of the little ideas in the design of the room. His slippers are very beautiful, and some refreshments will be prepared. Since it is very close to the scenic spot, you can go out and visit it during the day and at night. You can go shopping whenever you want. The hotel's breakfast is semi-self-service, and the particularly delicious wonton, as well as some of his local pastries, So overall it is a very good stay experience

Although it was a bit unpleasant when we first checked in, fortunately the problem was solved quickly and the service remedy was very timely. The restaurant waiter felt cold and I hope this can be improved!

Overall, the service was very good. The hotel arranged two adjacent rooms for us, which made it easier to take care of the elderly. After breakfast, I took the children to visit the mustard garden. The mustard garden after the rain was really beautiful and intoxicating.

I stayed here during the May Day holiday when I came to Nanjing. I was very satisfied with the room I was given. The room was spacious and the furniture was wooden and Chinese style. There were too many people in the scenic area during the holiday. Fortunately, the hotel has its own garden for taking pictures without crowding with people. The effect is particularly good.

The location is excellent. During festivals, there are long queues at restaurants in Laomendongli. The hotel has its own restaurant that serves great Huaiyang cuisine. The staff helped us reserve a table in advance, saving a lot of time. I was very happy throughout the stay.
