I decided to take my kids to Nanjing for the Dragon Boat Festival and chose Huaji Hotel in Laomendong. The hotel is located in a quiet place in the city, and the layout of the old house feels nostalgic and retro. The room is also quite comfortable, with a CD player, and the music is quite nice. There are performances in the street bar at night, the windows are soundproofed, and the air conditioner is very powerful.
The front desk girl provided very good service. After checking in, there were some minor problems with the windows and TV, and she patiently helped to solve them. Thumbs up 👍 I saw that someone brought children to get toiletries and slippers for the children 😊
Breakfast is also very convenient. The restaurant is opposite the hotel, and the environment of the restaurant is more elegant. Side dishes and cakes can also be added during the period. The breakfast tastes OK.

Nanjing is a beautiful city with many attractions. Staying at Huaji Hotel made our trip very special. The rooms are beautifully appointed, with excellent service. The front desk personnel were very helpful and made us feel welcome. The shops nearby were wonderful for finding souvenirs, food, and drinks. Our room had firm, but comfortable beds, with excellent bedding. The toiletries provided included comb, razor, toothbrush and paste. The room had fresh fruit and tea, refreshed each day. We enjoyed breakfast at the hotel restaurant just across the walking street. The service there was friendly and warm. Excellent hotel for a very reasonable price!
