Mercure Hotel (Nanjing Xinjiekou Bojin)

The environment is cozy, the room is warm and comfortable, the service is welcoming, and the breakfast offers a great variety – definitely recommended!

Extended my stay for two more days and it was truly excellent! From the front desk to the housekeeping staff, everyone was so thoughtful. They greeted me politely, the hygiene was meticulously maintained, and the facilities had a cozy, home-like feel. They even gave me a small gift upon check-out, which was a lovely touch.

This time, I chose the Mercure Nanjing Xinjiekou, and I'm completely won over by its blend of convenience and quality! The location is absolutely perfect, right in the heart of Xinjiekou, a 3-minute walk to the subway station. The area is packed with malls and old-school eateries, making it ideal for both shopping and dining. The room design shows thoughtful touches, with warm lighting and minimalist furniture. As someone with lumbar and cervical spine issues, I found the mattress incredibly supportive, and the pillows were just right – not too soft, not too firm! Paired with the blackout curtains, I could get a peaceful night's sleep even in a bustling commercial area. The cleanliness was impeccable; the bedding and bathroom were spotless, and the toiletries were high-quality, exceeding my expectations. The service was an added bonus. Check-in at the front desk was efficient, and they even proactively recommended local hidden gems and must-try foods to avoid tourist traps. Requests were handled promptly; extra pillows and a power strip were delivered quickly, and even the cleaning staff greeted me politely. Highly recommended!

This hotel offers great value for money. It's very close to the subway station and Xinjiekou, making it convenient for both leisure and business travelers. The breakfast selection is extensive, and there's a stamp collection spot at the lobby entrance – a must-visit for stamp enthusiasts! The lobby also provides small snacks to tide you over. Both check-in and check-out came with complimentary souvenirs. It's a very thoughtful hotel, and I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit.
