Nanjing Xuanwu District 4-star Hotels

This hotel is good value for money. In particular, the staff are very nice and very helpful. Nicely, there is a Starbucks in the lobby for breakfast. The only drawbacks are two: all the rooms seem to be smoking, so even if you request a non-smoking room, it will still have that lingering odor, and secondly, it’s a ten minute walk to the nearest metro station. However, having said that, the room was spotlessly clean, there is a little convenience store in the lobby, which is very useful, and as I say, the staff are lovely. They went out of their way to help me order taxis and find things, which I couldn't do because of my poor language skills. I might well stay here again, depending on what other places are available for a similar price.

The hotel is very well located, near almost everything you want to do downtown. However, as it is near everything, get ready to be awake early by either the noise from the street or people in the corridor, as the walls are thin. The hotel's parking lot is big enough so that you will have no trouble parking your car. The receptionists are very kind, even though they do not speak any English. The TV turns on without reason from time to time, so you better unplug it. As you can see from the pictures, the shower is not the most comfortable, yet it is good enough for a solo traveler. The bed is comfortable, and the room's cleanliness is fine.

This hotel is so nice. The desk lady, 王思红 and her English name is Lareina, was so helpful and amazing. She helped me find places such a nearby hair salons, provided my every need. She is such an amazing person and definitely understand hospitality.

The smart room was surprisingly worth it considering the price. At first glance the design concept is questionable but it kind of makes sense in an interesting way. Only downside is the shower glass;maybe some privacy glass should be added as well,not only couples will book the room. Service was perfect,location spot on. Overall it was worth it .

I came to Nanjing to visit Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum and Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum, so I booked this hotel. The location is very good. There is a bus stop at the door. You can take the bus directly to Meihua Mountain and Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum. The nearby scenery is beautiful. Let’s talk about the hotel’s room, it’s clean, the size is okay, and it’s relatively spacious. The windows have two layers of glass and are very soundproof. Five-point praise, it will be the first choice next time you come to Nanjing.

Our stay was ok. Not what we expected of Atour and the breakfast is all chinese. So disappointing. Nothing really at the hotel in terms of being child friendly and foreign nationals friendly I wouldn’t recommend. Location is 0.

Because the hotel is not facing the lake, all rooms can only see the side lake view, not facing it. The restaurant on the second floor of the hotel has good dishes, not very expensive, and relatively light, which is suitable for the taste of Cantonese people. The service attitude of the front desk staff is quite good and quite enthusiastic. Now it's time to talk about the disadvantages. The poor hygiene and old facilities are completely unrelated to the sign of a four-star hotel. It is understandable that the hotel is a bit old, but the maintenance is too poor. The hygiene of many old hotels is better than this one. Since the facilities are old, attention should be paid to hygiene so that guests can stay at ease. Seeing the layer of dust on the window, the scenery outside is not very clear, and the edge of the wash basin is moldy. There are a lot of hair and other things on the carpet, and it has not been vacuumed clean. The free bottled water on the table was not full, one bottle was more and one bottle was less, I dare not drink it. There seemed to be not many food restaurants nearby. When I stayed at the hotel, the hotel air conditioner was undergoing seasonal maintenance. There was no air conditioner, only ventilation. Fortunately, the weather was neither cold nor hot, otherwise I don’t know how to endure it. If you are greedy for convenient transportation and have low requirements for accommodation, you can make do with one night. If you want to stay comfortably, it is recommended to choose another hotel.
