Nanjing Qinhuai District 5-star Hotels

Great Holiday Inn experience. Good value for money, very central and conveniently located next to malls, tourist areas and amazing eateries. From arrival, the staff are genuinely kind and courteous. A shout out to Alan for checking us in quickly, even though it is a timely process for foreigners. He also upgraded our stay, which was a pleasant surprise! 😁 As for the property, and amenities, it is standard Holiday Inn vibes, though a bit dated and in need of a modern facelift. I would definitely recommend this holiday to friends and travelers to Nanjing.

Location is in the heart of the city. Very close to the subway and located right next to a super mall. Plenty of food choices and room is pretty spacious.

I’ve never had a bad stay at a Kempinski hotel and this one was no exception. Beautifully appointed room, friendly and professional service, a delicious breakfast etc. If I was to really critique I would say I was surprised to find partly melted ice in the room’s ice bucket and also that I do personally like to have a mirror in the shower cubicle for when I shave. This is being incredibly picky though and neither of these things affected my stay in the slightest.

A very good travel experience. The location of Zhuangyuan Building is very good, right next to the Confucius Temple archway. The front desk, concierge and housekeeping staff were all friendly and courteous. The front desk helped us upgrade to a premium room with a view. Looking at the panoramic view of the Confucius Temple scenic area, we will definitely come back when we visit Nanjing again. This hotel👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Not the best experience… the day we were set to leave, there was no hot water available on our floor. We had to call front desk about 6 times before they let us shower in a different room. No apologies we’re given, and staff seemed nonchalant about the inconvenience. I understand that some issues may come up, but it would’ve been nice if some urgency was given toward those who were inconvenienced on the floor (or even a notice to let us know the hot water isn’t working).

The best hotel I have stayed in my trip to China this December. The rooms are big and spacious and clean. I had the double guest room and it came with a television and a projector TV. We could watch our shows separately in the room as they have cleverly positioned the speakers for the projection behind the bind. There is a big platform near the window, presumably to be in the same mood as the theatre theme. This is perfect for us for our 4 luggage. There are fresh fruits served daily in the room, and amenities are replenished daily. The breakfast has a good variety of selection. There is a laundry room with 2 washers and dryer. The hotel staff are all polite and helpful, even gave my kids free breakfast during our stay. If I have to nickpick at something, it would be that there is around 5 stairs to the lobby of the hotel and not so luggage friendly.

Hotel is within walking distance to many attractions in Nanjing (Fuzi Temple, Old East Gate) and these places turn incredibly stunning at night. Facilities, cleanliness and amenities are what you would expect at a 5 star hotel and it is within the confines of a traditional picturesque garden which guests can access 24/7. Slightly disappointed that the Chinese Opera Show is only available on Fridays and Saturdays.

The hotel is located in Laomendong. It is actually a cultural relic building. Next to it is the Jinling Art Museum and an underground garage. The location is great, very convenient for going out and eating. Although it is located in a popular area, the hotel can be quiet in the bustle, which is really great. The hotel I chose this time made the entire trip smoother and more enjoyable. The sisters at the front desk are beautiful, gentle and very enthusiastic. After telling the sisters at the front desk about my request, they immediately upgraded me to a room and helped with luggage, which was very considerate. On the day before I left, I decided to go to a scenic spot in the morning. Because I had to catch a train at noon and had to go out early in the morning, I chose to order takeout for breakfast. I thought that the takeout would be left at the front desk or asked to pick it up at the door, but what I didn’t expect was The sister at the front desk helped deliver breakfast directly to the room, which I didn't expect. The room is fully equipped and high-end, the shampoo is very easy to use, and the shower gel smells very good. The hotel also has two little blue cats, Xiao Nan and Xiao Bei, who are very, very cute. Unfortunately, my trip this time was very short and I was not able to calm down and enjoy the pleasant time in the hotel, nor did I pet the cat. I will stay here again next time and enjoy the pleasure the hotel brings me next time.

This trip was really great. I called in advance to ask about the arrival time, and sent the location of the hotel and parking lot. The lobby manager Xiaohua was very considerate and took us back to the room to introduce the hotel culture and the hotel’s Hanfu cruise experience. . Due to the problem with housing prices, we also found relevant departments to coordinate and gave us small gifts. If you have takeout during your stay, you can ask him to help deliver it. It is very convenient to pick up and drop off the car to the parking lot when checking out. I will choose this hotel again if I have the opportunity to come to Nanjing!

great location, great value, Room is not big but very french. very clean. this is what I wanted. Service was great. especially Joanna in reception made my day, she represent true hospitality of the hotel. will come back ! highly recommended.
