Nice lake views. Very good Sun moon lake view. Clean and staff is friendly. Recommended for people who like to enjoy the view and also do a bit of walking exercise to Shuishe. Not far and there is bus accessible too.

We arrived early but had no problem leaving our luggage at the hotel till after we spent the day touring the lake area. Our “quadruple” family room with a view was comfortable and spacious. The lakeside, pedestrian walkway access was just across the street. The only thing to consider for next time is the inconvenience and distance to the shops and ferry stops. It took some time to get the hot shower water running, but the staff person who came to check was helpful and kind. (Unfortunately, the hotel specifies No Smoking” but selfish guests insisting on smoking on the balconies are always a nuisance when your room is just above or anywhere downwind.)

This was a great hotel for our group of 4. The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, and most importantly, the view from the balcony. Highly recommended.

It's away from the hustle bustly of ItaThao, on a more serene spot, within walking distance to Fleur the Chine (for 2 high end local eats) & Wenwu temple.
It has a lot of potentials however a decent amount of funding needed to have a proper upgrade to make the common spaces clean and clear of objects. Room maintenance and cleaning also need improving. Senior manager was helpful, info given re. bus back to Taichung was conflicted & I decided to pay for a private vehicle instead.
View from large window out to lake was really lovely.
