Breakfast was help yourself to whatever was available. Bagels were not refreshed daily. Not what I would call 'bed and breakfast'. Decor could do with updating. Wallpaper peeling and carpets stained. Location was great but not much open in March, including the hotel bar.

This property advertised bed and breakfast; however, the breakfast consisted of stale bagels and microwave cereal. The dining area floor was dirty and full of crumbs, the common area dining table was not wiped down, the room temperature was impossibly hot (78 degrees!), the thermostat in the room was unresponsive, there was no ice in the ice machine, the hallway carpeting was dirty and stained.

This is an excellent in-town Nantucket option. Our room was spacious for a historic property and the bathroom was well appointed with nice towels and amenities. The window air conditioner worked well. Breakfast was basic, and there are more robust options nearby if you need them. The staff was warm and welcoming, and housekeeping was thorough. Be advised you may need to walk up two flights of stairs.

The building was so quiet and clean. Our room was super cozy and the entire hotel is such a calming environment. The woman at the front desk who greeted us on arrival was so sweet and kind! Will definitely stay again.

The king room was surprisingly large, with a couch, desk and large TV. Spacious bathroom, though the tub/shower combo could use a face lift. 24 hour coffee, tea, water and snacks. Not a giant selection, but nice to have the option. Location is excellent - right between ACK Bar and Brotherhood of Thieves.

Historic house in an excellent location. The experience was like stepping back in time but, with all the conveniences of modern day. Friendly and helpful staff. Always willing to offer assistance or advice. Spacious room with beautiful linens, towels, robes and luxurious L’ Occitane amenities. We will definitely return.

It was NOT the Jared Coffin. An adjoining building from the 80s, absolutely not sound proof. No temperature control in the room. Dismal bathroom.
The price was off season, but not reasonable for the dingy setting. Noise level from other rooms was horrible
