My husband and I stayed at the Sherburne Inn on *** Street for 4 nights. I used TripAdvisor reviews and other guidebooks to look up possible accomodations in Nantucket. Sherburne Inn is a small historic inn (or bed and breakfast) with a fabulous location. We walked from the ferry and the inn was just outside the main town. Kara, the innkeeper, greeted us and showed us to our deluxe king room, located at the back of the property on the first floor. She showed us the layout of the inn - the common room, the location of the beach bags and complimentary beach towels for guests' use, and the various places where we could eat our included breakfast. They've thought of everything here: water carafe and coffee for the guests, a fridge in the common room with all kinds of drinks, snacks in a basket, etc. Our room also had a Keurig coffee pot and all the fixings, complimentary water, and a small guest fridge. Facility had great air conditioning that we could control. Guest robes were provided and stored in the closet. Kara asked us what we were planning and then suggested some sandwich shops, walks, beaches, transportation options, and restaurants. We made dinner reservations before we arrived; we used a combination of Opentable, Yelp, and Resy, and some needed to be booked 30 days before, a week before, etc. The restaurants we chose (Oran Mor, Ventuno, Queequegs, and Cru) were all terrific. We rented bikes from Young's Bikeshop for 3 days and were able to store them at the back of the property. We also used the island transport called the Wave to get to a number of spots ($3 each, one way). Stop looking at different lodging options and book this place now! Highly recommended for location, comfort, cleanliness, and of course, the kindness of the innkeeper, Kara! Thank you for a wonderful stay!
