An interesting operation in a great Naples location. It occupies the 2nd floor of a multi-story building on a busy main drag in Naples and it's location is only noted by a small sign next to the front door set back by the street sidewalk. We located it using GPS, but the sign was so small we didn't see it and drove on, which led to a harrowing trip around a very busy block through tiny alleys crowded with pedestrian traffic. By the time we returned to the hotel (B&B?), my wife had reached Marco, the manager, by phone and he was along side the curb to guide us in. An adventuresome start, but all other aspects of our stay were excellent. After greeting us, Marco carried our luggage up to the 2nd floor office, and our car was taken away to a parking garage where it was securely kept until we needed it for our departure 3 days later. Marco is a remarkable manager, who had been in touch with us for several days prior to our arrival and was just a phone call or text away, providing immediate response and assistance for whatever questions we might have during our stay. It is clear, Marco is the cornerstone to the entire operation. We had a standard family room (104) with a balcony that gave us a nice view of a busy city below and across the street. We were given a fob for entry through the building's front door, and our room key let us into the office as well as our room. We felt very secure in a town known for petty crime. The room was clean with good space for our luggage and an excellent bathroom. A foldout sofa, included for a 3rd guest, provided extra space for us to leave our suitcases open during the stay. The room was tastefully decorated with local art and the bed was large and comfortable. Another aspect of the establishment is the delivery of breakfast to our room each morning at a time designated by us. Each evening, we would fill out a breakfast request form which we would photograph and text to Marco, who would forward it onto the outside service used to prepare and deliver the food, during a 1/2 hour time slot we selected for the next morning. The food was well prepared and made for a good start to the day. As global travelers with experiences in some of the world's finest hotels, I would recommend Dimora Duomo to anyone looking for a unique quality experience located in a nice section of Naples. Marco is extremely dedicated to his guests and no detail is left unattended.
