- The hotel has a unique style of exotic architecture and, it’s all made from cave. - It’s a good experience once in a life time, to try to sleep in a cave. Specially if you have kids or honeymooners. Although, I was a solo traveler but, I love it. - Day one was a bit scared my room was number (1) which is the oldest cave and, big&wide for one person. After knowing it goes back to more than 11,000 years ago. I felt am sleeping inside the history. - Hotel is a family business hotel, I met nice girls Sarah in the cooking class & Shaimaa sweet girl at the reception. - Everyone here very friendly and attentive, they can communicate in English the youngest employees. But, they are all extremely helpful. - Hotel can arrange pick up and drop off, as well as, private taxi to be transported anywhere around. - Location: it’s around (19-mins to Goreme city) Shaimaa helped a lot. - I booked tours and Turkish bath from the hotel . They also manage my transport to most of places I visit. - Breakfast: The entire food is organic and fresh from their farm. The hotel buffet have wide variates of olives that melts into your mouth. They sell home made tomatoes for cooking and various types of James. - Cooking class: if you like to interact with tourist, as well as, learn about Turkish food to take it back with you to your country that’s right place to go even if you will not stay at the hotel due to over bookings. The host is super warm and always welcome with a smile. It was quite late at night while we were searching for some wine options with snacks; we stumbled upon La Vie rooftop. We got Turkish wine with fresh potato chips and many varieties of dry fruits. It was chilly and the owner was kind enough to provide us some rugs to keep ourselves warm. He had given us some souvenirs too. I would highly recommend this place if you are staying at Uchisar. I think they have great accommodation too (we were not staying here but looking at the arrangements it might be worth a try).

Hotel looks gorgeous from outside. Scenic hotel with exclusive rooms. Unfortunately, when things go wrong, it’s very wrong. Firstly, I could not get into the room, key was faulty, complained 4 times and went down to the reception too. At last got into the room but I had to climb a flights of stairs for 4 rounds just to get this fixed! Second day of staying, nobody came to clean the room, met the housekeeping and they say will come as soon as possible and guess what, nobody came as well. Their staff barely understand English and we have to use translator. Breakfast and dinner has very limited choice, as I remember it’s only around 5-6 hot dishes which are cold. My room was just a normal room, not much like a cave hotel but other rooms were really nice. Probably not too 5 star stay with 5 star views.

It was a place that we wanted to see, and I never thought we would have been having so good time. The hotel helped us with the room, although we arrived early in the morning, and it was incredibly good to spend 3 days in the clean hot room after so much of the ice-like air. Workers are generally very sweet sincere and laughing. The breakfast options were too many and incredibly tasty. We were very happy. They were very beautiful as a location. They were very close to the restaurants to be visited within the day. We were very happy that they were at walking distance. We went through a familiar way and they were very helpful with our room choice. And yet we would stay in this hotel. We thank everyone again. Absolutely recommended.

incredible views,incredible hotel staff -especially the chef receptionist,buse,she's the best always.-,incredible events and one of a kind experience for me. the people are very helpful,the food are just incredible,the physical condition of the hotel and rooms just perfect,you can watch the hot-air balloons on roof of the hotel on early-mornings and i can say it's just surreal. i highly -very very highly- recommend the place and i hope i will come there again!

The room was perfect, The breakfast was excellent! But they let us down. We booked our hot air balloon ride through (get your guide )5 months before we flew to Cappadocia because it’s for my 54th Birthday. When we just arrived she ( Rabiss I think her name) kept on asking several times about our balloon ride which I have told her that everything was already in placed. We arrived September 28 and she approached us on the 30th our balloon ride. She said that the balloon ride, they cancel a day before and if we booked through them, they could update us anytime which it makes sense. My mistake was , I should have contacted the number that Get your guide provided because the address of the Company was in Göreme . Anyway, we cancelled and after 30 minutes she came to us and said that it’s already booked for October 3. I asked her the contact number of the company where she booked however no response from her. The following day October 2 , we were about to checkout because we were moving to Göreme for my Birthday. The manager / owner at first was hesitant to give the number. I said that it’s early morning and incase that there’s a problem then we could contact them directly but he said no problem just contact us and I will contact them which we didn’t agree. So at the end he gave his number. I contacted the number and I was surprised he didn’t know about the booking that I was telling so at the end I was the one who sorted out. I told to the manager that there was no any booking. The available date was October 5 and 6. The reason why the 3rd and 4th of October wasn’t available because the passengers of booking of September 30 and October 1 was cancelled because of the weather so they cancelled October 2 and 3 bookings and allocated the people of September 30 and October 1 which I didn’t believe. Those who were cancelled will be either fully refund or book when it’s convenient for them not to cancel the present booking. We didn’t have an alternative but to book the available date because I checked in get your guide and viator, there was no available from October 3 to 6. When we left, the manager and Rabiss never apologise. Rabiss was avoiding the topic even they were the one who put our luggage in the car. Another issue was better to book the tours like the Dervish and Turkish night through get your guide because free pick up and drop. The price that they quoted was same price with get your guide but transport not included in the price from the hotel. However , when Rabiss said to us that all included so we went ahead. But then when the driver dropped us in the hotel after the the show , we paid 1000 Turkish Lira ( 34 euros). We didn’t ask the manager why we had to pay but we presumed that it will be deducted from the final payment of the said booking. When we check out , we found out that the taxi was not part of it. So my recommendation or suggestion is to make clear and if possible black and white. We booked the hotel through booking.c

We had a really comfortable stay at Lunas Cappadocia! Mr. Kerim and his brother were so kind, attentive, communicative, and honest. We greatly appreciated the accommodations made for allowing us to leave bags before check-in/after check-out. He kindly checked tour prices for us, made recommendations, called taxis, etc. The hotel is a bit far but still within walking distance (15-20 minutes) from main attractions in Uchisar. The area is really quiet and relaxing, and the locals are friendly. The room was cozy and sufficient for our needs. Breakfast was good, and the view of the Uchisar castle, though far, is beautiful. We highly recommend this location for anyone looking for a quiet stay and attentive customer service!
