Wonderful hospitality and beautiful property!

I can’t say enough good things about Medusa! The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, food and drinks were great, the beach was perfect, and the location was quiet. We enjoyed our stay so much, we extended a bit longer. Can’t wait to go back.

The hotel was advertised as a relaxing, quiet, yoga stay. The outdoor facilities were good and all the staff were fantastic. However, the room we had was very dated and the bathroom needs modernisation (wet room style, but towels, sink, mirror, everything would get wet). The shower was handheld, but previously you can see a rainfall style shower had been there. Something the hotel cannot control is the guests that book. We had booked this as a quiet location away from naxos town to relax. But a large family group ran riot about the place, exactly what we look to avoid. Left little room for other guests (breakfasts and space on the beach at hotel). Breakfast is good, but it is the same thing everyday. Lunch/dinner was good (we ate two ounches and 1 dinner there).

Awesome service. Front desk took the time to help me see about yours. The people serving the food were awesome. The resort has its own beach which was great. Nice beach.

Totally gratifying and awesome to say the least. We will come again next time we are in Greece.

Medusa hotel and suites is idyllic, beautifully landscaped, wonderful setting right on the beach. The breakfast lets it down, little choice, small portions and as it was served outside, we were attacked by flies and wasps making eating it very unpleasant.

Unfortunately not keen on this Hotel. The cleanliness was not good. I have travelled many islands and have stayed in hotels of the same price, I don’t feel it meets the usual price range standards. Food was reasonable, but tended to eat elsewhere. Found some very pleasant restaurants nearby. Location very sweet by the sea. But have had locations like this before but hotels typically nicer. Location nice. Definitely I expected more!!

What a shame. I returned a few weeks ago. And was so disappointed. I’ve stayed here before pre covid with friends, and I enjoyed it. We in fact write blogs on Greek islands. So we are fairly well travelled. This time after returning we were so disheartened. We travelled with our two teenagers. And they had an awful time and asked to move on early. Which was not fee-sable. If we could we would. The staff were incredibly rude, and made them feel very unwelcome. It was as if they were not there, and were not spoken too. My children are extremely polite and well behaved. So it was quite upsetting how rude the staff were. It’s lost its vibe. And appeal since the last time we stayed. And unfortunately people will see the reviews from years ago and decide to stay here. When I would likely read the most recent and make a decision. The rooms are incredibly dated. Which for the price range we are not used too. We are comparing with other hotels near, and in other islands. And they are shown up ten fold. They are dated, and feel very clinical. The pool had two plasters bobbing around for the entire day, whilst staff walked by. We didn’t want to say anything, because the staff were very unapproachable. The next day they were gone, but it was a stomach turner. Food- so last time we frequented. It was fabulous food. This time, it was no more than mediocre. Which is sad because Greek food is amazing. This time, the plates came out dirty, and the tables always seemed sticky. We have stayed in hotels in magaluf and we have eaten better for half the money. The area - is beautifull. But unfortunately what you pay for isn’t entirely that. It’s picturesque. If we could lift this hotel out, and drop a nice one in. We would. And it would be 5stars all round. It saddens me to leave this review. But my star level is going by how it is now in comparison to the previous stay. Maybe towards the end of season staff are tired and miserable. But this is not fair. My teenagers pay towards their holidays. And for them to not enjoy staying because they were uncomfortable. That made me sad. Housekeeping was pretty shocking. On one occasion we had to ask the cleaner to come back. We carry our own Dettol and rarely use it. But we did here. We won’t stay again. There are some fabulous hotels near by. I would say, if it is only the view you are after then this is great. If you want a nice hotel, nice food, nice staff, cleanliness. I’d travel ten minutes up the road. I hope that people don’t look too far back and stay because if such great previous years reviews. And look too more recents. As I say. The change is next level. If the hotel reads this. Then I do apologise. It’s not a review I wanted too leave. But unfortunately I do read and stay in hotels judging from reviews. And I feel it’s unfair too let others misjudge due too lack of honest reviews. I beg the staff too be more cheerful, and pleasant. Because something so small really does make a huge difference too custo
