600 yuan is the experience of more than 100 homestays in China. Maybe Lugambo is very remote, and the hotel is almost in the village. I drank water and got diarrhea! Secondly, when I made the reservation, I didn’t pay attention to the fact that it was a double bed for 1 person. There were actually two of us. When we checked in, we didn’t explain it. I knocked on the door in the middle of the night and came in and said that we could only accommodate one person. We were asked to add more than 100 people, and we communicated until the next day to check out. Room processing. Finally added $10

Check in was smooth especially given we arrived late at night. Lovely hotel, with clean rooms and set out as in the picture. No surprises. The bed is so comfortable and has good quality linen. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Ashan took really good care of us and made sure we had everything we needed.

Hotel had kind staff but neighborhood dogs and visible crack on our rooms balcony door made us not sleep much at all the night we stayed. Dogs barked repeatedly throughout the night and we had to call the front desk to quiet them several times throughout the night so we could sleep. They need better soundproofing for the rooms or assistance relocating the dogs to homes ideally if they’re strays. We would not stay here again based on how poorly we slept.

Lovely place in Negombo near the beach. Room was comfortable and had wonderful pillows. Just the right mix of softness and firmness. Appreciated the airport pickup. That made arrival easy given we came in on an early evening flight. Overall, recommend this hotel.

1泊でお世話になりました。部屋はシンプルでとても快適でした。スタッフの皆様はとてもフレンドリーで温かく迎えて下さりました。朝食も種類は豊富ですべてライブキッチンで作って下さいます。とても丁寧に創作して下さって見た目にも美しく美味しかったです！とてものんびり過ごすことができました。また次回再訪する時には利用したいと思いました。ありがとうございました！

I stayed here for my last night in Sri Lanka before heading to the airport. The staff was so sweet and genuine. The food at Salt is a must try. I only stayed for breakfast but wish I could have tried there other items on the menu. Ask for Vijay and he’ll be sure to give you a great experience!
