The hotel is located quite far (from the airport), 30 minutes by tuk-tuk, there is almost no infrastructure nearby, although there are a couple of supermarkets. There is a railway right under the windows, you can’t see it, but you can hear it. Audibility in the hotel is generally super excellent. In general, you can stay for one night before departure, but the star system, of course, rather has a self-proclaimed relationship to this place. The staff is very pleasant, I didn’t have to do anything special)), but they checked me in simply, quickly, calmly, politely, with a smile and didn’t bother me

Fijne kamer met airco, lekker bed, moderne badkamer en ruimte voor je spullen. Het personeel is erg vriendelijk: ze regelden probleemloos een vroege (6.30 AM) taxi naar het vliegveld, en hadden zelfs een ontbijtje voor ons ingepakt om mee te nemen. Er is een balkon bij de kamer, maar daarop staat een luid ronkend apparaat om de airco draaiende te houden, waarop bovendien een vloeistof (water?) over het balkon lekt. Het zwembad is erg klein, met alle ligbedden er direct naast/omheen waardoor enige vorm van privacy ontbreekt.

Staff and the manager were very friendly. Breakfast was good and tasty. Room was clean and cosy. Ayurvedic massage treatments were very nice. This is simply a very good place to stay during your Sri Lanka trip. We definitely recommend this one.

Writing a review about the the food served in the restaurant only and will keep it short and crisp: Avoid the restaurant at all costs - The worst Chicken Biryani I have had during my two weeks in Sri Lanka and at the same time the most expensive one!

Perfekte Unterkunft, um sich nach anstrengender Reise zu akklimatisieren. Super organisiert, alle sehr freundlich und engagiert. Und das Essen ist eine absolute Überraschung: wahnsinnig lecker und hohes Niveau. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Cet hôtel est proche de l’aéroport et parfait pour une première ou dernière nuit sur l’île ! Le personnel est très serviable et chaleureux. Nous avons eu l’occasion de passer une journée avec Ruben qui nous emmené jusqu’à Sigirya. Il s’est montré toujours souriant et nous a appris de nombreuses choses sur la culture sri lankaise.

We stayed for just one night after a red eye flight and wanted somewhere not too far from the airport to chill and offered treatments. Ayur Ayur was a good option. Price wise, it was good overall and the treatments were a great price too. Room: clean, not a bad size and comfortable beds. Pool area: beds a little tired, but a refreshing pool to cool down and relax in. Food: this was a little overpriced in my opinion. Breakfast was included however it was a very set menu with no option for anything other than a watermelon juice, set Sri Lankan and no other alternatives. If you wanted anything other than this such as an orange juice it was charged. The breakfast let it down a little. Treatments: honestly amazing! I opted for a full body massage and the shirodhara which I have never experienced before and it was one of the best! Would come back just for the treatments! Overall a good place located near the airport for easy access and with fantastic treatments!
