深夜航班到達，來到酒店已經12點鐘，門已經關了，老闆被吵醒後還是很熱情地接待我們，房間很乾爽，有空調和蚊帳，走路去小魚市場200米，坐突突車去大魚市場400盧比，買了便宜的海蝦回去自己動手加工，附近有小商販在賣水果，小榴蓮很香，500盧比一個，連我這個不愛吃榴蓮的人都覺得好吃。民宿的早餐很豐富，新鮮的西瓜汁好喝，老闆的英語很順溜，來到斯里蘭卡的第一天一切都是美好的。
