If it wasn’t for one thing this hotel would get five stars. So I will go with the really bad negative first. My BF is Jamaican, he drove out one morning and the lady on the security said she had to search his car, he questioned if she said it was policy to search guests cars!!!! So next day I asked her she lied to my face and again told me it was policy but funnily enough didn’t search when I was in the car! So I asked to streak to the manager, and asked if policy to search guests cars, response absolutely not! Only people working at hotel. I thought this was the case as I have never had my car searched in the thousands of hotels I’ve stayed at! My BF had told the lady on security he was a guest and she still insisted! This is so so bad and to be lied to my face by the lady to just disgusting! I told the hotel this needed seriously addressing! Also a repeat guests and first time stayed one of ladies on reception was so rude when I asked if I could change rooms due to noise of construction. Again I was being polite but her response was not folk. So now for the positives. We are repeat guests there, this was last time we stayed. The ocean view superior rooms are amazing, rustic feel, beautiful views, don’t bother upgrading to suites in main building, they overlook pool, are old, go for the beach front rooms, I’ve stayed in both. Food is amazing, we stayed over Chris**as and there Chris**as Eve Gala just wow. Good entertainment. And repeat guests dinners are also amazing love that night. Beach is amazing and proximity to everything. I love this hotel, just a few things with some of the staff that are rude needs addressing as such a bad experience with my BF.
