Our experience at Sunset at the Palms was disappointing. Despite staying for four nights, we couldn't get a good night's sleep due to the extreme heat in our room. Despite notifying the front desk about the issue, it wasn't resolved. Additionally, we encountered a lizard in the room, which was also not addressed after staff advised someone would be there right away. Furthermore, we had toiletries, including toilet paper, go missing without any resolution from the staff. Although the staff was friendly, the resort lacked activities and amenities, catering more to an older crowd. The property, dating back to 1994, shows signs of age and neglect. We also found bugs/insects in the room, which was unacceptable. Overall, our stay was marred by several issues, and we cannot recommend room 106.
